Thanks Penguiness! I really am glad people enjoy them, because I have way too much fun making them. It's great and there are no words for how appreciative I am for the support of the family. I feel really honored that Clark let me do this coupon vid - it's so cool, and it's brought me a lot of subscribers. Reading through their comments, a lot of them seem like really great people and I look forward to shooting the breeze with them. So this is going great for me, and I'm incredibly appreciative to Clark - but if it comes at an expense of offended customers and bad press, that really bothers me. I just hope it's small.
There is a certain irony in 'there is no such thing as bad publicity'...especially in regards to how it works on this forum and the internet in general. Your background leaves you with an advantageous playground to say the least...I say that with utmost respect.I think he thinks that the production was "by Nicoticket" - not just an enthusiastic customer/NT fam member. Evidently he holds me in high esteem (because of my education, among other things) and he felt the review/contest/etc was a waste of a time and/or a poor representation of the company. In any event, he's entitled to his opinion, and - I respectfully disagree. Despite my education, I'm in the trenches fighting for lives... I think in an email he questioned "who exactly my customers were, and why would they want to watch this." The overwhelmingly positive response substantiates what I already know - you're a bunch of freaks just like me. HAHA I grew up "on the wrong side of the tracks" and I rather like it like that.Any success I do enjoy would mean little or nothing if it came as a result of having a silver spoon firmly lodged in my rectum.

What's ultimately true is the vid would only be offensive if someone lets it be. There's nothing inherently offensive about it - but it goes back to my old band Existentia - some loved it and would drive for 2 or 3 hours to see us play each time we played - others got "offended" and walked out of the venue within moments of the opening act. Well to be fair some of our lyrics could be construed as offensive, but, I don't think the ones who got offended heard enough of the lyrics to even know that. It was a reaction to our style, which was crazy as all hell. Same thing here - the sad thing to me is just that people are trigger happy. They don't like something so they take the time to try and hurt its cause. I would love to speak with the OP, and I've offered. I'd be elated if he/she contacted me to clear this up. I bet we'd get along in the end, I'm a cool cat looking for friends
I can't imagine anyone being offended by that video. I loved it, and shared it on G+. One of my faves on that forum placed a huge Nicoticket order; she's loving the Frenilla, and Strawnilla. No matter how often I tell them Clark's NET tobacco isn't like any other company, they are still reluctant. Missing out on Wakonda is sad.
