"Best" is so subjective. It depends on the device with which you're driving it,. It depends on the material with which you wick the coil. It depends on the juice you're vaporizing.

What's "best" is what works for you. I don't sub-ohm with my kayfuns. I don't want to risk melting down the insulator between the deck and the block. What's "best" for *ME* is about 1.8-2.0 ohm coil, wicked with cotton or rayon, firing around 11W without any dry hits.

The beauty of the kayfun or any other RBA is that you do exactly that - rebuild it if you don't like the results you're getting.

28 or 30 gauge Kanthal works well for a Kayfun. I prefer 28 as its easier to work with and isn't as brittle as 30 gauge.

I build a single microcoil to 1.5 ohms. (approximately 10 loops with 28 gauge) I wrap the coil around a 2.0 mm screwdriver shaft. Always check the resistance of the coil BEFORE firing it on a mod, with an ohm reader.

Be sure to use an IMR high drain battery with a minimum of 10 amps maximum continuous discharge rating.

Anybody else can share me his config. ?

7-8 wraps of 28 Gauge Kanthal around a normal tooth pick. 1-1.2 ohm on cotton. But you know what, I'm the worst Kayfun builder. I never could get the Kayfun to operate correctly without dribbling. I have a authentic as well. I can micro coil/cotton build Protank 2's but the Kayfun's aren't fun for me. Maybe I'm just a dripper at heart.

it would be nice to know if you're using a regulated mod (and its parameters) or a mech mod. i use my kayfuns strictly on my Hana. i use 28g kanthal and like my ohms anywhere between 1.1-1.8. currently my build is at 1.3 ohms and i usually vape it between 13-15 watts.

I think it's roughly my favorite config, so it must be good
