I want to get some INW Dark tobacco.

When and if you do, please throw out your review on the Dark tobacco. I picked up some direct from Poland and it had a cane mint quality; mixed it from .25% to 5% and it still had the same mint backnote. Folks say it isn't supposed to have a mint quality.....maybe I just got a tainted bottle???

I ordered 5 mls. of this last night. I've been using FA Maxx Blend for well over a year and have been pretty happy with it. I'm thinking maybe this might make it a little mo betta.

It's definitely a TA like no other. I expected the Rustica to be heavy and dark for some reason; there were no flavor tasting notes anywhere I looked!

To my surprise, it was nothing like I had imagined. The flavor of the Rustica is somewhat light and lifting in nature and with that, hints of an earthy, musty, salty flavor coupled with a super light fruit note. It definitely "lifts" whatever tobacco it's coupled with, if any. You can certainly tell you've added it to the mix, even as low as .25% (about 3 or 4 drops).

It's quite enjoyable!

P.S. Stay away from the Tabacum Concrete; haven't found a way to dissolve that stuff in any solution to make it useable as a flavoring.

What is this Rustica I keep seeing mentioned? It must be good because it is mentioned quite often.

It is good! It's a Tobacco Absolute which comes in a very thick paste form and is usually mixed, 1 part Rustica with 9 parts PGA to make a 10% solution for DIY. Very tasty!

From everything I read, it is best used as an accent more or less kind of like a TA. Of course .25% would be doing just that. Might take a good long steep for that to disappear. Just rattling off here. I dunno.:)

EDIT: Now that I ordered the TA, it might be a while before I get any Dark Tobacco. If you work out something good with it, let us know. Others have said it really worked wonders for them.
yep, it has the smell and sensation of wet, dark rolling tobacco. 0.5% is more than enough. Especially some of my friends who recently started vaping loves any liquid that has a bit of dark tobacco in it. I think it works with most of the tobacco mixes.

I don't care for it stand a lone at all but I use TFA DK Tobacco at .5% in some of my mixes. At $1.75 for 10ml it might be worth a try for another variation.

I also have some of the Vanilla for Pipe mixed up. You're right. It is a rather strange taste that I really didn't care for at first mix. Been in the cupboard for about 2 months now. Maybe I'll break it out this weekend and see if steeping helped.

By golly it's not bad now. Not one I'd vape a lot of, but a nice break from my normal Virginia/TA and RY4 mixes.

I did the same thing with the HS Gold and Silver. Didn't care for it fresh but after a good long steep, I like it too.

I am steeping both the INW Vanilla for Pipe and the INW Dark for Pipe. I smelled them the other day and Oh man I sure hope they change. I was gonna try them on the 18th after a 2 week steep but I may just let them go longer first. ;)
If you don't like how the Dark smells, it may not change for you. The tobacco element deepens and the flavor "darkens" IMO, but, the overall profile stays roughly the same.

Myself, I love it both fresh and steeped but almost prefer it fresh.

Bear in mind none of mine has steeped more than 2 weeks (impossible for Sloth)

For what it's worth, I'm really enjoying the Dark For Pipe at 3%. I mixed it a week ago and it tastes the same now as it did then. It's quite complex with sweet and savory qualities. There's a smoky raisin note in the background that keeps me coming back for more.

Mixed this up 2 days ago, 4.5 hours in crocpot @ 150 degrees first day...

INW Garuda 4%
INW Gozdziki 1.2%
INW Shisha Brandy Cocoa 1.5%
FA Oakwood .75%

I'll probably knock some percentages down next time but this is a lovely vape. The clove is strong so I'll probably take it back down at least. Not getting a whole lot of baccy, more steep will probably bring that forward, problem is it won't get to steep... :)
