The only tobacco flavor I like is a SC Cohiba but thats at 1.25% blended with a HS tobac, just enough cigar taste to be very nice but not overpower.

Totally agree with the SC thoughts and tastes. The SC Maxx Blend, Cohiba, Turkish, Black n Mild, French Pipe and Parlay are super nice tobaccos; can't wait to collect more of them.

As much as I want to try some more of the Ina flavors, I think the SC line is at the top of my list right now.

Finally getting on board the For Pipe train. Coming my way from BCV:

Dark for Pipe
Black for Pipe
555 Gold
Black and Mild SC

Wanted Gold Ducat as well but they only had 30ml.

30ml of gold ducat will go a long way...only need to mix at no more then 3%. I use it at 2.5%

Well, been reading this thread and just placed a large order which included a bunch of new tobacco flavors.

SC brand:
Black n Mild
Havana Dry
Maxx Blend
Turkish
Virginia Flue Cured

HS:
Eastern Tobacco
Elder Captain
Turkish Blended
Virginia (2nd order)

INW:
Black Cherry for Pipe
Black for Pipe
Captain Jack for Pipe
Dark for Pipe
Gold for Pipe
Flue Cured Tobacco TDM

Here's the funny part, I originally went to the BCV website to order more CO Cohiba (HS) but they were out. So then I figured since I was there, might as well get some of them that have been talked about lately along with a few I wanted to try. Doh...Man, I love this DIY hobby/habit but it really triggers the shinyitis in me. LOL

I haven't been around much because I haven't experimented with anything new in probably a year. I've been stuck on a 3-4 flavor Hangsen rotation (DS, turkish, indian). I occasionally go for some gold and silver, virginia, and #5. My vape life is that simple. lol.

When I ordered from BCV last week I noticed a bunch of super concentrates. Who is the manufacturer of those? Are they similar to HS in general flavor profile?

Welcome back Bob. I believe the SC concentrates are imports from china. I've tried a few and there pretty good. The cohiba was a particularly good cigar clone for me. It's part of my daily rotation. Also lots of good reviews on them in this thread.

Possibly Xi'an Muren. There's a link in this post.
Does anyone know who is VZ SC flavors manufacturer?

All I know for sure is that my bottle of SC French Pipe from BC is identical taste wise to the bottle from VZ.

I can also tell you that they taste to me like they're from tobacco and not artificial as far as the tobacco flavor goes. I personally think Hangsen is more refined and not as strong.

I'd say try a couple and see what you think.

Just tried the Garuda/Gozdziki combo mentioned in this thread (though I mixed @ 2% Garuda 1% Gozdziki) and oh my god. Quite possibly an ADV. So good, so reminiscent of the clove cigs. I used to enjoy those on special occasions - something about smoking them made my head feel strange and was harsh to my throat. Will be interesting to see if that effect translates to vaping but I hope not :vapor:

I really enjoy this combo as well. I'm thinking that adding some vanilla to the mix would be nice but I don't really have any that I'd use. I bought bought INW Vanilla for Pipe and INW Shisha Vanilla but neither is a very strong vanilla flavor to me. I think they'd get lost behind Gozdziki. Any suggestions?

I haven't found a vanilla worth bragging about yet. I wish I had, I had high hopes for Vanilla Bourbon and I haven't had it steeped yet but it seems like it's not that great but maybe the best I've tried.

I really like Vanilla for Pipe but it tastes rather strange in the mixes I've tried it in so far. It's a strange flavor...:)

INW Vanilla for Pipe

This tobacco, I found, needed to be mixed at much higher percentages than most other "For Pipe" tobaccos. It's a good one for folks that wish to try a tobacco mix, but don't want to be slapped in the face with a tobacco flavor. I use it at around 6 or 7% with a bit of DNB and FA Vanilla Tahity.

Yeah, it's definitely on the milder side. I mixed it at 5% solo to test it and there's not much flavor there. I was hoping just to use it as a vanilla in tobacco mixes but I think I need to try something else. How is Vanilla Tahity? I've read good things about Holy Vanilla from ODIYS, any experience with it?

Haven't tried the ODIYS vanilla, but when I get around to ordering some of their TA, I'll give it a shot.

The FA VT is really the only vanilla which has ever won me over; the rest I gave away or they became drain freshener.

Vanilla Bourbon really needs several weeks of steeping.

I used a very little (.5%) in a batch of RY4 a while back. At 2 weeks I could begin to taste it. At 4+ weeks it really started to shine. However, by the end of the 100ml bottle I grew tired of it and left it out of my next batch. Not saying it wasn't good. Just time to go back to my standard RY4.

I think I have some FA Tahity around here someplace so I may give that a try next time.

I also have some of the Vanilla for Pipe mixed up. You're right. It is a rather strange taste that I really didn't care for at first mix. Been in the cupboard for about 2 months now. Maybe I'll break it out this weekend and see if steeping helped.

I didn't get the strange feelings but I did get the harshness to my throat. I've held off on trying any clove type flavors because of that. Be sure and let us know how it goes.

Anyone try FA Perique Black? Perique Black-FA
Love perique based NETs, wondering how this compares.
It's an earthy, smokey, peppery flavor, and very strong! 1% will do. Slightly sweet, almost cherry or prune like. The smokey taste makes it more like a real cig than most NETs i've tried that sometimes make me feel like smelling or sucking an unlit cig. I'm vaping the Perique Black mixed with FA Desert Ship now, real weird combination, maybe too complex, not sure yet.
