Threw this together tonight. I've been meaning to mix something like this up for awhile but I've been slacking.

Dark for Pipe (INW) 4%
Fuji (FA) 2%
Meringue (FA) 1%
Cinnamon Ceylon (FA) 0.75%

3mg 50/50. I'm really enjoying it fresh. The nice, fresh apple from the Fuji comes through well and the rum and oak from Dark for Pipe gives the flavor a nice finish. The cinnamon isn't prevalent and I may go up on it a tad. The meringue is just there for some sweetness, body and to tame that Fuji a bit. I find it can be somewhat harsh but the meringue did its job and there's no harshness in the mix.

Thanks for the heads up, I will definitely check it out.

How does it compare to HS desert ship?
In my opinion, HS Desert Ship is in an entirely different league. Don't get me wrong, Hangsen's DS is one of my favorite tobaccos, but I don't get any of the bold earthiness and spice that I get from FA or INW Desert Ship. To my taste buds Hangsen is a "cleaner" tobacco with a medium body, where as the INW is very reminiscent of the FA version but much more palatable to me.

I just discovered Inawera's DS this past week, even though I've I had on my shelf for 3 months. Flavourart's Desert Ship just turned me off completely and in the bottle Inawera smells very similar to the FA so I was hesitant to try it. I'm glad I did, though, because I'm trying some exotic blends with it, and it is by far by most powerful tobacco I'm using.

I may give this a shot when I re-up my supplies. I've got something similar right now that I'm toying with:

4% INW dark for pipe
2% TFA mild black
2% TFA absinthe

It's still a work in progress, but after a day steep it's not bad!

I like the licorice/anise vapes myself; not an ADV for me, but they're good for a change of pace or when I'm in the mood for sweetness. Good stuff!

I don't like Licorice taste in my tobacco vapes but I did find a "good and plenty" candy flavoring recently that I enjoy quite regularly on it's own.

Flavourart's Desert Ship just turned me off completely

My FA Desert ship went to the landfill.

The INW and HS Desert ship are far and away superior, to me. Sure, it may take a bit higher a percentage with the HS to get the flavor I want, but that smooth, lightly sweet and nutty qualitly is fantastic. The INW has a bit more of a Turkish quality to me, but it too is smooth and satisfying; deserving of some INW dirty neutral base for the ash.

I make a Jon Wayne clone (not too close but where I started) that has three drops of anise per 30ml. I can't stand licorice but I find at about .01 to .025% it plays nicely with tobaccos.

The ECX 234 Dji Sam Soe and the HS Black Label (Dijarum) are really very tasty clove tobaccos; took me a long time to find one that wasn't cloying and acrid tasting.
My BC order came in today and I'm enjoying some HS Black Label at the moment. I mixed it at 4% and I think that's going to be about right for me. Yeal, it's a winner for me as well. :vapor:

Sure, I'll share. Like I said though, this is not a "clone" it was my attempt to clone Jon Wayne with a more pronounced tobacco element. It did turn out to be pretty good though;

HS Desert Ship 5%
FA Butterscotch 3%
HS Highway 1.5%
FA Caramel 2%
AP 1.5%
FA Madagascar Vanilla 1%
EM 1%
MTS Vape Wizard 0.25%
FA Anise (or Absinthe) 1 or 2 drops per 30ml

As I mention, Anise can be a wickedly strong ingredient that will overpower everything else in a hurry. Start at 1 drop per 30ml (about 0.1%) but do not go over 3 drops (0.25%) or it will become the dominant flavor.

I find it best after a 4 week aging time.

Cherry is one of those flavors that I don't like to vape, I tried a cherry tobacco long ago and haven't vaped cherry since.

I could see using maybe 0.5% with a touch of vanilla on top of a strong tobacco base. It would have to be way in the background for me.

I like it, but even with the strong tobaccos it punches me in the mouth. I might give it a go at .25% on top of some black for pipe I have, and go from there.

Whoa! I'm finally into the SC Dunhill that I mixed yesterday afternoon at 3% so it's had about 20 hrs of steep time. To me, this is more like a pipe mix than cigarette but lick smackin' good anyways. There's hints of other flavors that I can't identify, but mostly it's just a deep but smooth narrow leaf tobacco flavor. 10 out of 10 for me. :vapor:

Thanks scotdc! Time to shop for the ingredients I don't have.
