It's pretty standard for Hangsen. Rarely do I go higher. Potent stuff all around.

I guess my taste buds are fried too. I use Hangsen at about 7% in general in my mixes, sometimes down to 5% if I want it to be a background mix with other flavors.

I make a Jon Wayne clone (not too close but where I started) that has three drops of anise per 30ml. I can't stand licorice but I find at about .01 to .025% it plays nicely with tobaccos.

I got my shipment of missing ingredients and mixed this up early this week. It's quite good. I added one drop of anise to my 30mL batch.

Thanks again. I'm really enjoying this mix!

I do like the RY1, not so much the other "RY's". I have some ready to come out of the aging closet, I'll try that. Although I love nut flavors in my tobacco, for some reason I can't stomach the Toasted Almond (tried CAP and TFA) - maybe I'll just try 0.5% or so.
Yeal TFA isn't a bang on almond flavor for me either but I still like it at low percents in my tobacco mixes. The most authentic nut flavor I've tried so far was TFA Walnut. It was pretty close to dead on raw walnut, but unfortunately for me, walnut is my least favorite nut flavor to mix with tobaccos.

Lots of folks swear by AP and I also like AP but to me it's more of a bread type flavor. Might be worth a try if you haven't done so already.

If you have any peanut butter flavor, you might try a couple drops of that. Peanut butter goes with everything lol. :vapor:

I am curious to know what type of fruit goes with tobaccos. I have tried a combination of blueberry, raspberry and dragon's fruit; not a bad combination. Also considering black currant for its tart flavor. A sweet and sour fruit would be nice as well. Any idea what fruit that would be? I have tried apple and didn't care for it that much.

This may be a little different, but I like Fig with tobacco. You can play around with molasses, brown sugar, various nuts to combine with fig and it becomes a nice exotic vape.

I use AP quite frequently in my mixes. My favorite nut flavor is Hazelnut (TFA and FW are different but both are good), and INW Walnut. I'm still working with Peanut Butter to get it close to my satisfaction, so far I've found it very strong and dry.

Sounds promising. I already have white peach from FA. It is the best. What about blackberry; will FA do as well?
TFA Blackberry is what I used.

As you know peach can quickly overpower, blackberry is even more potent.

You're welcome, glad you're enjoying it! Good call with the anise, anything more than two drops per 30ml is too much for me.

Did you speed steep? I find this recipe works best with a 4 or 5 week aging.

Oddly enough, I have had many of the fruits you guys mentioned above and never had the time to try them. It might be time to take them out of storage ...

Been wanting to try a brown sugar with plum or fig tobacco combo. That combined with a nut flavoring (Walnut, almond) should show some interesting results. I have all of the flavorings in storage that I think I'll break out this weekend.

Danny, try this as a guideline - I really like this, but it's 17% flavor. Adjust to your preferred target level

HA Indian - 3.5%
FA Fig - 3% (no more than this or it takes over)
FA Honey - 1% (I use 2% but I don't taste anything weird with honey like everybody else does)
FA Catalan Cream - 2%
TFA Brown Sugar Extra - 2%
TFA Hazelnut - 1.5%
INW S'Camel - 1.5% (to smooth out tobacco notes, can sub HA Desert Ship it's very similar)

That sounds really good. Don't have the hazelnut but will substitute almond. Inw s'camel will be just fine it's one of my usual tobaccos along with the indian. I think this will be first on my list of experimenting this weekend.
