Lol, to me garuda has a lot of "ash", even if you don't have DNB, you coul use Garuda to substitute it. At this moment it has become my favorite iof the Inawera TA.

Good to know. I'm starting to think I should just by pass all the Ina TA's for awhile. I have a feeling that when I try one, I'm going to be wishing I was using Rustica instead of it anyways.

Also, I've got three or four pipe and cigar flavors that I'm dying to check out

How many of you when mixing your raw TA add like .5% EM. I've seen a lot of venders recommend it but never tried it. I would imagine it would add some thickness to it without really sweetening it which I think would be a good thing. But I'm concerned expecially with the ashier TA's such as virginia that it may add an unwanted sweetness to it.

I haven't been using AP, Em, or ACV much in any of my mixes lately. Just don't seem to need them. I still use a little sweetener on occasion though.

Maybe in the future I might but presently I am still trying to get a handle on what the various tobacco absolutes bring to the mixture and am just using them as is.

Maybe some of you misunderstood me. When I say add the EM to the TA. I mean when mixing your concentrate from the raw paste TA not add it to the final mix. For instance

making a 10% TA concentrate solution

1% raw TA
9% PG/PGA
.5% EM

As I recall, when I purchased TA from TFA several months ago, it already had EM listed as one of the ingredients. BTW, in the mix you quoted above, the percentages add up to 10.5%. You probably meant add .5% EM AFTER you make your 10% solution. I need to try that.

Yeal I did misunderstand. I'll try to work out what percentage that is and test it in a small mix.

Edit: God I hate old age, I can't think. Is this anyways near correct?
Assuming 40 drops per ml, take 5ml of base and add ONE drop EM.
In the mix, match each drop of Rustica 10% solution with one drop of EM .5% solution.
Is that close?

I ended up vaping about half a tank of the INW Bright Tobacco with MM TA that tasted like peanut butter to me before I had to throw in the towel and dump the mixture. I like peanut butter but just couldnt handle the vape. Cleaned the Kayfun again and now waiting for a mixture to get out of my UC. Speaking of which, I picked up an Ultrasonic Cleaner off of ebay for $35 delivered thats a DADI DA 968. It will run for 1 hour at 30 watts or 30 minutes at 50 watts. I did a batch earlier at 50 watts and it was very warm when it was done so a heater really wouldnt be needed.
Today I mixed up 10ml of Capella's Medium Tobacco at %6 with 2 drops of DNB and 3 drops of INW TA Virginia. Gave it a 30 minute 50 watt UC steep, let it cool and put it into a Kayfun lite. Very good vape. The tobacco flavor is bold and has some depth to it while the exhale makes me feel like I am exhaling a Pall Mall light.

How are you liking the Inw. TA at only 3 drops ( I assume those are Inawera bottle drops?) I usually go at least 1 drop per mL with the TA. I need bold flavors. I sometimes wish i was one of those people who can taste very light flavors. I have to pass on so many juices because the flavor is not strong enough for me.

It looks like Nova Prime, Torque and Tribeca are no longer among the Vappora offerings... Boba's remains.

Has anyone emailed to ask about this yet? Since they all disappeared at once maybe Halo sent a C&D letter, I think they normally just sue outright, so a C&D would be out of character for them so I wonder what happened? :D

That sucks, I didn't even have a chance to order yet! Now, where can we get these flavors again, no where in the US right?

Umm OK now your making my old age show. But yes that's what I get 1 drop per 5ml based on 40 drops per ml or .05ml.

That's weird. I just got it like 2 weeks ago. Maybe as said earlier. Halo hit them with a threat or C&D. That sounds like Halo's MO. I wasn't that impressed with the flavors anyway. After vaping them a full week I decided I make similure mixes that taste better then halo (Notice I didn't say clone:)). Maybe Halo will send me a C&D saying if what I make taste better then thier's then I can't do that:)

Sorry cool Breeze but I just haven't found the time to mix the Buba. I'm not sure what I can offer as far as an opinion on it as I've never tried it so can't really compare it to anything. I hope to get around to it this week.

I like the Inawera TA's a lot. I have both the Virginia and the Garuda from Inawera and both of them I mixed up in a 5ml solution and tried them. As a stand alone they are ok but where they excell like any tobacco absolute is when they are used as an enhancer. Used at one to three drops to a 10 ml tobacco mixture they will enhance the flavor of the mixture without taking over the mixtures flavor. Anything more than that your tobacco absolute is now dominating the flavor instead of enhancing it. (my opinion)
I also cant taste very light juice but recently someone asked me why I am using so much when only a little is called for. I usually use %10 tobacco flavoring where the web sites say only use %2. Its just the way I always have done things yet I am starting to back off on the amounts I use like a mixture I made tonight where usually I would use %10, this time I backed it down to %6 and the flavor was actually more pronounced to me. Strange to say the least, less is more but also a learning point for me.

Lol. :vapor:

Well all I know is I once made a 50 ml bottle of one of your recipes, let it steep 4 weeks and then vaped it straight until it was all gone lol. I can't find it at the moment but it was the one that used the TFA Ry4D. Unfortunately, my next bottle of Ry4D wasn't up to snuff and I haven't had the heart to try another. What would you suggest as a similar recipe but not using the Ry4D?
