It seems there are about 234 comments, but only 13 can be seen?? I really hope everyone's comments have gotten through!!!

I have a feeling that those of us who uploaded our files instead of typing them in the box will not be able to see our comments. I could be wrong, though.

I normally wouldn't care about this as I'm from Canada but I get my juice from Aroma Ejuice which is in the USA, and there's no way I can do without that :) However, whenever talk surfaces about these things I always think that all they can really do is drive the business to an "unofficial" level like they've done here in Canada. In other words, it's not approved but that doesn't stop anyone from doing all the business they want on the internet.

Having said that though there will be some people who may not have the courage to do business in an unregulated environment, but there will be many who will. As totally absurd as it would be to disallow vaping but allow smoking, as long as there is a demand for something, there will be market activity. I'm all for people speaking up and if your politicians cared about what Canadians think, as in, we want to still be able to smuggle your merchandise into our country through the mail, so let us continue to do that please, then I'd be right on it :D

I just clicked Submit. No reaction from the system yet, not acknowledgement of submission, nothing. Does the website respond in any way, to let you know that your comment was successfully received?

LOL - thought I would just "copy and paste" my comments into their little box, but somehow ended up with over 6,000 characters.

eta - I guess you have to put something in the organization box. Duh.... "NONE" works, though....

I think you underestimate the aggressiveness of gov't here. Especially when the private sector is slumped, anybody in gov't will do anything to justify their budget. And for a chance to push people around. Left, right, center, doesn't matter. Different culture here. We can hope but really unless there are enough of us to get on the front-page news, AND the media stop listening to ANTZ, we could be helpless, in which case good luck getting your stuff across the border.

I can get it across the border no problem and can buy it here in Canada easily as well but I can't get WTA juice here. There's always China as well who are a bit less corrupt :)

I don't underestimate the aggressiveness of government, particularly since this aggression is fueled by bribery, aka contributions and lobbying. We're up against some pretty big organizations here, the tobacco companies and the non smoking idiots. That is indeed a challenge.

I did submit some comments after all and did have my say. I have my doubts about how seriously our views will be taken though and it may take the courts to temper what is certainly a strong bias against us.

For whatever reason, I thought this thread was about another thing I was trying to comment on earlier. But, I realized after submitting my comment that this i a completely different situation. Needless to say, I ended up sending my comment that I had in my copy clipboard on my PC to THIS. So I hope that what I had said in my comment was appropriate.

I basically told them I was an e-cig user, that my family members have died of cancer from smoking. I told them that I was a smoker and that I successfully quit smoking with e-cigs 4-5 years ago. I stated that I hope they do not change, stop, or dramatically change my way of life when it comes to using e-cigs and vaping. I told them that I order from many small businesses and mom and pop shops and I wouldn't want to see those businesses go out of business because of a new law. I told them that I really care about these businesses and the people that run them. I told them that we have a new e-liquid standards association working with the e-liquid vendors and that the businesses were working toward providing a more standardized product. I told them that I fully support these businesses and I 100% support e-cigs and I completely believe that propylene glycol and vegetable glycerine is not going to provide as many negative side effects as compared to smoking, if any at all. I told them that I truly believe e-cigs are saving and are GOING to save my life, and many many other people's lives.

I hope that what I said above is in line with what we are working toward saying as a group. Thank you.
