It won't affect me much. I've got about a half-century's supply of nic in the freezer and I have enough gear I can buy pretty much everything else as parts and make it. But new folks trying to quit are going to be hard put to it.

And there it is. I even have 7mm x .5 taps and dies so I can make my own 510sYou sure got that right.
It's time for the newbies to get their feet wet in rebuilding. It's nowhere as scary as they think. In the beginning a good ohms reader is worth its weight in gold.
I have built so long I can get my rating to 1/10-1/5 of an ohm. Without a ohms reader.
Today when I built the Billow V2 I wanted .8-.9 ohm and on the mod my coil was .94 ohms.

Wow, thanks for all of the advice and helpful info. I really appreciate it. Going to follow your suggestions and give it a go.Before you start DIYing let me offer a few words to help you a great deal.
I started by ordering VG and PG by the quart. Now I order VG by the gallon. About 6 weeks ago Amazon had a gallon of usp grade VG for $24.
Now for the advice.
1. You will need blunt syringes. Dedicate one syringe exclusively for the nic and with fingernail polish paint a big red X on it. You will need another syringe for flavor and syringes for PG and VG. The other syringes can be washed out and good to go. I use a rubber band and attach the syringe to my bottle of Nic.
2. In the beginning make small batches because some you may not like at all and would rather pour out 5 ml than 50 ml. You can make larger batches after you get used to flavors and have some recipes.
3. Start with half the amount of flavor they recommend. Drip a drop or two in an RDA. You can check the flavor. You can always add more flavor but you can't take it out.
4. An ejuice calculator is essential.
They can be confusing.
It needs to know the strength of Nic amount of milligrams per milliliters. The vg and pg rstio of your nin.
The VG and PG ratio of your flavor,
The size of batch you are making. The ratio of the VG and PG you want your final juice to be. I like ,70% VG.
The strength of Nic in your final juice. My calculator even asks where I get my flavors from and if the calculator knows the flavor I am using will spour a recipe.
X.xx ml flavor, vg, PG, nic that will make exactly 5 ml of juice and the exact strength of Nic in the juice
There are juicd calculators on line with recipes submitted by other users.

I saw PBusardo's video on FlavorArt in Italy. Cool company who seem dedicated to producing high quality flavors.
I did check out the DIY forum on ECF a few times. I guess I just need to jump into it, get some minimal quantities of VG, PG, Flavor and Nic and start testing. I downloaded the JuiceMeUp app but honestly that was pretty confusing to me.
their response will be like ...
Thank you for your support.

Andria, thank you. But I'm just as confused with these. Maybe I'm having a major brain fart!Try this: DIY E-Liquid Calculator Ten Flavors With Nicotine Plus PG/VG Adjusting
Much easier, and you can specify nic and PG/VG level for every single item you add -- so it's ideal for mixing pre-mades as much as from-scratch mixing; I started using it because of adding WTA, and needing to keep track of the nic level and PG/VG; since WTA is 100% VG, I have to be very careful with any other VG I add.

Andria, thank you. But I'm just as confused with these. Maybe I'm having a major brain fart!
Suppose I want 10ml final amount, 3mg nic, 80% VG, 20% PG. For the life of me I can't seem that make those calculators do that. I know it's me and my error. Uuuuuughhhhh.
Sorry for being so dense.
The picture was what I needed - got it to work.Ok -- assuming your nicotine is 100mg, and further assuming that since you want to end up with 80% VG, the nic is 100% VG -- set up these for opening parameters --

Then enter your flavors in the blanks beneath.
If your nicotine is not 100mg, then enter whatever strength it is -- if your nic is not 100% VG,you'll probablyyou MAY have a hard time reaching 80% Vg for the finished juice.

Thank you Andria . This has helped me a lot too. Also I want to thank you for your recipe Strawberries n Cream. I have only just started Diy and I tried yours after having unsuccessful attempts at Strawberries and cream. Yours was spot on and I can't stop vaping it . Many thanks all the way from Ireland. I have cut myself down from two packs a day to only 2 cigs now. And now that I have found a great recipe that I love I'm ready to chuck them away. Thank you also to Bill's Magic Vapour for His Cinnamon Danish. Both these recipes have helped me to stick to vaping, which is very important to me as I am also recovering from Breast Cancer. Thank you again !Not a problem -- I know when I first started all this, figuring out the calculator was the first step -- and I wasn't even doing "real" DIY then, just trying to figure out how to combine WTA with my pre-made and not get a whopping dose of VG.It's a hell of a learning curve for pretty much anything vape-related; thank goodness for ECF and so many helpful folks here.

I personally will order my goods from overseas. We can still stop these proposed bans desguised as "regulation" but all pulling togather and following the progress. Joining CASAA wouldnt hurt either.Sorry, I'm a newbie to this site, LOL. Here's something I wrote:
Dear Sir
After over 30 years of smoking, I was finally able to stop, thanks to
the life-saving new vaping products. This dramatically improved my
life, and I have been tobacco free for over 2 years now.
...
If vaping is no longer available:
I WILL BE FORCED TO START SMOKING AGAIN
Where's the nic gonna come from?the FDA can fight us, but when it comes down to it...hardware stores sell electrical enclosure boxes plus the guts and vegetable glycerin is always readily available. if prohibition is enacted, the market's well will runeth over with juice.
