One thing that I think is out of perspective is the ppb... most things (almost everything) is tested as ppm or parts per million. if something posts as 75 ppb the ppm equation for the same property would be .075 ppm which is so minute... It seems to me they are trying to persuade the public with means they don't understand... and try to relate to a percent... which is why they don't go with PPT... 75,000 Parts per trillion. I can hear my friends now... "no way, e-cigs are like... 75% antifreeze!"

I can't even fathom that smoking tobacco is safer....Did the FDA release this report? Sounds like hear say that the tobacco industry prematurely released...I'm stocking up in the morning...27 years of slavery to a product that has killed many loved ones...E-cigs is our path to health in my mind, if there's a concern with the juice, I'm sure it can be corrected.

...snip...CoderGuy has been very enlightening tonite regarding the ridiculousness just passed in WA. Um... does the WA state government think their adult citizens need controlling or what? And we all know, when one state does something like that and gets away with it, it's just a matter of time before they all do. Look at the smoking bans. How ridiculous did we all think those "crazy californians" were when they started banning smoking years ago? Yep. Ignoring bit everyone in the ....... hard.

I just want to point out, knowing it doesn't help the current topic at all...isn't Washington the same state where it's illegal to pump your own gas? (maybe that's Oregon, though). If so, though...who knows what kind of wacky laws a state like that would pass?

As far as I know ecigs are already banned in Hong Kong. And recently China prohibited manufacture of eliquid with nic above 24 mg, so the extra-high nic eliquid is drying up too.

Also largely irrelevant, but in the interest of facts (or just nitpicking, really), it is my understanding that China banned the EXPORT of nicotine solutions over 24mg/ml, not the manufacture of same.
