Did anyone noticed that so called "tobacco specific impurities" were detected, but do not show amount. Instead, they have a footnote:

Limit of detection Cotinine 20 ppb. Anabasine 10 ppb; myosmine 69 ppb; β-nicotyrine 170 ppb – present but at less than the level of the Nicotrol specification

Also, tobacco specific nitrosamines ( carcinogens ) do not show levels. Only detected or not-detected with a footnote:

analyte was detected but at a level less than the limit-of-quantitation

As far as I'm concerned, thank you FDA for confirming that this stuff is SAFE!

This just tells us the FDA is going to remove e-cigs from the marketplace. The FDA doesn't care what Judge Leon says or independent labs say - they are going to ban.

I hear you Jim--I have been advocating stockpiling for the last 6 months here. Load up people. The FDA is going to strong arm us right back to cigarettes if you do not have supplies on hand. Order all you can.

I will stick with snus rather than going back to cigarettes. I am stocking up on Swedish snus as here in WA apparently they are instituting the PACT Act on the 26th even though it hasn't been passed by the Senate yet (SB 5340 - 2009-10) so as of the 7/26/09 it will be a class C felony to order online here (already law in Utah).

Excellent point. I have an email in to them from an hour ago asking some questions myself.

I can totally buy replacement parts in bulk overseas and just buy juice in the US if needed. I'll find a way around this. There are always ways.

Hey guys, I'm a real new user here, so excuse the lack of complete understanding on this..

If they're talking cartridges, and I were to get *juice* from Johnson Creek, and perhaps even chocolate (so non-tobacco to boot), doesn't that put me in the clear? Carts seem to be in a gelatin suspension, liquid seems purer- esp. from Johnson Creek?

Help me out here.

It can't be just me can it? I use the e-cig and zero nicotine. I use vg not pg and I use candy oils for flavor. I dont order any juice that is already done for me. I think this argument should be directed at the e-liquids not the e-cig. By the way I used the patch for the nicotine when I quit (regulated 21mg over 24hrs) no issues at all, then I used the pv for the hand to mouth issues. Stopped using the patch after about 10 days and continue to make my own juice and use the pv like a mini huka. But like I said earlier I'm confused as far as the attack on the e-cig and the focus on the e-cig when it clearly looks like a e-liquid issue.

JC is not FDA approved. The company is just registered with them, like all other companies must do that sell products for human consumption.

I just need to figure out where to buy cured leaf tobacco and ill say to hell with the FDA (not much luck finding a place to buy it yet though. I may have to move back to kentucky just so I can keep vaping)

I like to know what stance JC has on this since they are in the USA and have released there ingredients to the FDA and are FDA registered.

I don't expect a reply to my e-mail, however, because I was pretty irate a couple weeks ago with the addition of 30%PG into my VG. Didn't like that.
I've bought from them exclusively for over 4 months, however, so hope they remember that much. Customers talk, dollars walk.

Others already pointed out the registered, not approved part... but...

I am guessing this has something to do with their formula change though. There has to be a reason for JC to make such a drastic change!!! Maybe when we thought they were dumb for making this change, they are smarter than we thought and are beingf proactive. Who knows, I don't understand all the legal stuff, just a random thought.
