I don't want "synthetic" anything, my own Doctor just about killed me with "synthetic" hormone replacement therapy. NO MORE OF THIS STUFF
I'm going to take a stab at the synthetic hormone replacement..was it synthroid? I was just about killed by it too. Ironically it was prescribed for many years without FDA approval.

I just need to figure out where to buy cured leaf tobacco and ill say to hell with the FDA (not much luck finding a place to buy it yet though. I may have to move back to kentucky just so I can keep vaping)

Can we grow our own and cure it? There has to be a process to this I'm sure, but how hard can it be?

While this does suck, think about it... we should still be able to get everything overseas just like cuban cigars make it into the states now. I personally know someone who buys 2-3 boxes of cuban cigars a month and they make it through customs. If they do, and they are illegal, then why would supplies or e-liquid?

I guess what I am saying is, where there is a will there is a way!!!

Exactly, I'm not sweating it. Stuff will still get through.
Heck, look at illegal drugs. They seem to make it over the border at record pace.
No need to worry too much.

So. Cal
here is what I know.

After 23 days without an analog My lungs already feel much better and I can definately tell the difference "in the sack" and other places; as well as no longer coughing like an goose call.

I'm pretty sure there are a few bad things in the Vapor, but I guess I am willing to bet (my life ultimately) that it is far less adverse to my body than analogs.

E-cigs may kill me, but analogs definately will.

Fook the FDA!!!!!

I guess it all depends on if you want to break the law or not. Here in WA they just passed SB 5340 which goes into effect 7/26/09, it bans the sale of all products that contain tobacco (except cigars) via internet, phone, or email. It makes it a class C felony with each shipment constituting a violation.

"Contains Tobacco" being the operative phrase here, and since many e-juices contain tobacco, I will only be able to possibly get JC.

Also there is the PACT Act that makes it illegal to ship any tobacco product (except cigars) into the United States (that one passed the US House in May and is in front of the US Senate now).

I live in Vancouver, WA and I didn't know that. But the operative word there is "sale". I'm a buyer. It's not illegal to buy the stuff. It's illegal to sell it.

If I have to, I'll sign up for a UPS Store PO box in California again like I had in the past before I moved up here, have them shipped there, then I'll have them forward to my "forwarding address" (ie., house in WA).

Therefore I didn't buy in WA. If "buy" is a significant wording in the WA law. Not sure.

Wrong, the bill specifically states:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. A new section is added to chapter 70.155 RCW
28 to read as follows:
29 (1) A person may not:
30 (a) Ship or transport, or cause to be shipped or transported, any
31 tobacco product ordered or purchased by mail or through the internet to
32 anyone in this state other than a licensed wholesaler or retailer; or
33 (b) With knowledge or reason to know of the violation, provide
34 substantial assistance to a person who is in violation of this section.
35 (2)(a) A person who knowingly violates subsection (1) of this
36 section is guilty of a class C felony, except that the maximum fine
37 that may be imposed is five thousand dollars.

Line 30, Ship or transport, or cause to be shipped or transported

That means buying.

That's actually not a bad idea, although for all things tobacco I would probably not choose California LOL

I still think the REAL issue here, is that the public will now have a tainted image of these products... Effectively putting every one of us in a bad light, no matter how wrong the accusations / findings may proove to be.

No matter how you spin it, this is going to be a LONG and DRAWN OUT ORDEAL here... And until someone else (FDA ahem...) figures out how to make money off of these things, they will continue to plod along with their "research."
