Oops! didn't think bout the metal lids. Plastic lids, preferably poly cone caps are best. Actually, the cost of proper glass bottles are a small part of the cost of nicotine.

Will the caps on these bottles work alright? I've got nicotine coming. For now, I am only going to transfer the nic to the bottles and put in the freezer. What extra equipment will I need to do just that.

When I cut mine down to 50mg a 4 oz bottle is enough for about a month or so. I but 3 bottle together in a ziplock and then into a storage ziplock as well. I find using a glass pan when I break it down worked for me so if you have a spill it's contained and easy clean up.
The amber and cobalt blue bottles are also stronger than regular glass.

yes i use a square glass baking dish myself for mixing, made the mistake once with 100mg and got a drop splashed onto my arm past my gloves and it made me very sick in only a few minutes,so now i treat it like i would pure acid gloves, polyester long sleeves, quiet controlled environment with no distractions, window open and do it next to a sink with quick and easy access to running water.

Once I heard about the FDA preparing itself, I did a whole pile of lurking and researching. I followed Kurt's advice on this post:

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ttle-help-freezing-nic-juice.html#post2126610

And it seems to be working well for me so far. The euro dropper bottles from specialtybottles.com really makes it super easy to syringe out out PG nic base. To avoid the possibility of error I've been cutting the nic down to 25mg in large batches, and then moving that to smaller bottles to flavor. I generally vape 24mg, but I can go down to 18mg without feeling discomfort so I can experiment with flavoring on a smaller scale without having to handle the high nic stuff constantly. I just picked up a few more flavors (mostly because I'm wanting menthol for my throat atm, am sicky)

I'm sitting on 1500ml of 100mg. Not as much as some people have stockpiled, but enough to last me a good five years.
Rebuildables, check.
Mechanical mods, check.
batteries, check.
Wick and wire check.

FDA, come at me, bro. I'm ready.

I'm storing mine in half-pint jars. I had them with metal lids for the first month, then changed to these

As for colored glass in the freezer, I don't bother. I just label them and wrap them up in a couple socks.

Although I am tempted to get an order with a bunch of 30ml jars, since I switched from 60mg to 100mg. One 120ml jar will last me a long time. Tempted, but do I want to deal with so many little jars in my freezer or not..

So you don't have a problem with plastic jars, that link is for plastic canning jars. Most I have read in here says not to use plastic on a long term storage.

Still not 100% sure which way is best. Should you break down your 100mg nic or is it ok to just separate it at 100mg. I have some 100mg PG base and I am looking for a better way to store it.
On post #42 there is a link for storing nic. And be careful when working 100mg.
Hope it helps!

I don't dilute my 100 mg nic for storage. I do label my bottles.
