This is a rather old release but thank you for posting I have NEVER seen it.. I like this little part here.
*****Begin copy***********
Health care professionals and consumers may report serious adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems with the use of e-cigarettes to the FDA's MedWatch Adverse Event Reporting program either online, by regular mail, fax or phone.

Online: THEADDRESS
Regular Mail: use postage-paid FDA form 3500 available at: Another address and mail to MedWatch, 5600 Fishers Lane, Rockville, MD 20852-9787
Fax: (800) FDA-0178
Phone: (800) FDA-1088
****End copy*********

I believe i am going to not only call but go to the website and send snail mail on the serious adverse events I have been having. You know I can actually BREATH, I feel like a 20lb weight has been lifted from my chest, I have even lost some weight (wish it was more), I have more energy then i have had in GOD only knows how long oh and the WORST problem i have is SMOKERs now stink like .. well you know what. Can't believe that was me not to long ago.

BTW way to waste my hard earned money GMAN. I know you are watching.. How about you fix health care or cost my taxes some.. Or even better yet do something that i pay you do to do for goodness sack..

/rant off.

There was a discussion on this when the press release first came out. The consensus is that we should not put anything into Medwatch. They could use it against us. They might have a thousand positive comments like yours and just say "We received a thousand reports about electronic cigarettes." Given how they did a major Maytag job on their lab analysis, I really wouldn't put it past them to twist this.

I like that they provide a way to report "adverse events (side effects) or product quality problems".
They seem to have forgotten to put the link for where to report positive effects.
It must be there somewhere....

So I could go report the adverse effect of having quit smoking when I wasn't trying to ...

lol.. hit that direct like over and over.. its cost them around 20-60 cents per hit

LOL on you. Who do you think "them" is? Them is us taxpayers! Reminds me of Pogo -- "I have seen the enemy and it is us."

If you'd like to see a greatly increased FDA budget to carry out this and other campaigns, just keep right on clicking that link. You really think they care, except in the way Vocalek wrote?

There was another post that said we should email the FDA and this is the response I recieved.
Your email has been forwarded to the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). Please forward all future inquiries regarding electronic cigarettes to druginfo@fda.hhs.gov

Sincerely,
Steve Nagy

That's for the courts to decide, not the FDA.
