FDA seizing Nicotine

Unfortunately, there isn’t a lot of information to go on. However, the
following if likely something the electronic cigarette community would be
interested in learning about. Sounds like the FDA has been seizing
shipments of pharmaceutical nicotine for undetermined reasons......

Maybe this is why i cant buy nic base at my local vendors anymore as of last week.

Actually, this is still an issue... but only for those who import nicotine from outside of the U.S. Customs has started seizing nicotine shipments and holding them for as long as they want. I have a couple friends who work in the E-juice manufacuring industry, and they have had to halt production because of this issue. It'd be nice if they could be helpful to an industry that is helping to save the lives of millions of smokers, instead of providing so many obstacles that the small E-cig companies are forced out of business. Of course, this is assuming that they aren't payed off by certain, unnamed national tobacco conglomerates to do this for the specific reason of eliminating competition so they (the unnamed Philip Morris, RJ Reynolds, and Lorrilard companies... that shall remain unnamed) can come in and sweep up the demand for E-cigs while trampling their smaller competitors to death. Yay, America!!!
