CASAA might have a web page that lists most of the known studies, but vendor commissioned ones are probably mixed in.
Trouble is, those URLs seem to mostly have CASAA or else a vape company in there. I used one CASAA one and one I found by Googling a study I knew existed (because it was posted here, and probably on CASAA)

I'd like some neutral-LOOKING links because otherwise these guys will decide we are an Evil Pro-Smoking Industry Group.

(I know CASAA's links are to proper information and good studies, but we need some that point to University web sites.)

Dear Bill Godshall:
I did, and even though my personal life is at odds (meaning almost can't afford this THR because I am an artist) with this progressive and personally important movement I hail my respects to the truth about the lies, all this e-cigarette anti crap. I have continued to vape and mostly have. I am so on the fence due to being who I respectively am, an artist, I am trying to fight this good fight and appreciating all you do to help me and who knows how many millions of others!

Why would a CASAA link be seen as "an Evil Pro-Smoking Industry Group?" It even says "Smoke-free" in the organization name! ;)

Good luck finding a positive e-cigarette study (positive from our perspective, at least) posted on a University web site - their research departments are funded by ANTZ and Big Pharma front groups. They don't publish things unless they support the ANTZ agenda.

Because they're being brainwashed.

I think there are now a few exceptions.

I'm not aware of any. There are 3 clinical studies that show e-cigarettes in a positive light - two are Italian and the other is Greek. There is only one study done on the vapor (air quality) that was not commissioned by an e-cig or flavoring company and it's not affiliated with any university. The rest are either opinion papers without any testing or testing of the devices/liquid done by ANTZ who spun the results only in a negative light in their conclusions (even though there were some positive things shown, as well.) Look at Elaine's link and see for yourself - I believe she has the most up-to-date list of completed studies there. I highly doubt you'll find any of those positive studies listed posted on university web sites. I could be wrong though.

Regardless, I can almost guarantee that the DHHS is already quite aware of those studies and has chosen to ignore them. They don't want to acknowledge facts that don't fit their agenda.

I think they are not even looking and therefore not aware. Willful ignorance. AND they won't change their minds if we make them aware. But we have to try, even if just some bottom-level grunt is the only one that will read the comments.

what I don't understand is why they listed the fact that the spitless tobacco and nicotine products are wrong because they are appealing to kids? aren't big pharma's quit-smoking aids spitless and concealable as well? Aren't they going to appeal to kids too? Why can't something appeal to kids and adults lol? Don't adults like cloves? Don't adults like cotton candy and candied apples too? Can't we enjoy nicotine, since we are already addicted to it, flavored with flavorings that we are already in love with??

I checked the box for "was out of date" and wrote "Had misleading information listing e-cigarettes as a smoked tobacco product" on the smoked tobacco page. On the electronic cigarettes page, I checked "was out of date" and wrote: "e-cigarettes are not marketed as a quit smoking aid. they are marketed as an alternative to smoking cigarettes. the fact that the FDA has not yet approved e-cigarettes as a safe alternative is something those of us using e-cigarettes would like to see changed. Many tests have been done that have found that e-cigarettes can and will save lives. The American E-Liquid Manufacturers' Standards Association has been formed to help ensure US e-liquid manufacturers (also known as AEMSA) are up-to proper safety standards. I respect this website and I hope it will save lives but I hope that e-cigarettes will not be subject to slanderous misinformed claims in the future. Thank you."

So, I hope I've done my part.
