The State of Confusion
Stop picking on Chantix. It's FDA approved, so it has to be safe.

Yeah yeah and I am sure the next FDA finding about vaping will reveal that it is acutally a nicotine replacement therapy (dahh) and it should be regulated because it can be used for smoking cessation.

They will also be contacting Merriam Webster to change the definition of vapor to closely match that of smoke citing that vapor does indeed contain 1 / 100,000,000,000,000,000.00 percent of carbon (which we know if it had any an electron microscope couldn't find it)!

They are so paid off and so full of bull shirt.

Why else would the drug companies still be advertising on national TV?

See it's in its very core, look at the name of the agency Federal .....there ya' go, they're screwed up!:2c:

You really Should do that.

Because I think it is a Given that Many ANTZs are going to use the Online Form to post Negative Feedback on products that they have Never Used.

I seriously tried. I wish I could have left a positive review. But the on-line form is only for problems...

Government Shutdown perhaps?

Nope. The FDA is open for business. Their form is designed specifically for reporting Adverse Events (potentially) related to drugs and devices, and does not accommodate itself well to reporting good results.

Where, how, did the FDA get their twisted fear mongering facts back in 2009? (Re antifreeze and other known MALARKY)

I've never read the complete study so I was curious. I googled and ended up here reading this:

Due to suspension of Federal government services, this website is not being regularly monitored.
If you need to report a workplace fatality, hospitalizations, or an imminent danger situation
please contact our toll free number immediately: 1-800-321-OSHA (6742); TTY 1-877-889-5627.

And it made me happy, its nice to see them out of work for their incompetence for a change hahahahaha

I'm sure this has been posted somewhere but if you havent seen it:
Is FDA Safety Report Inaccurate

Still looking for the orginal study but work keeps distracting me, I hate when that happens.

Germany
(I bet you can't even get Chantix in Europe)

Yes, you can, unfortunately. It is called "Champix" in Germany.
And people in Germany get the same side effects. Many people in vapers forums have reported those as well.

In November 2011, the German Magazine "Der Spiegel" warned against that stuff:
Gefährliche Nebenwirkungen: Forscher warnen vor Rauchstopp-Pille Champix - SPIEGEL ONLINE
(= Dangerous side effects - researchers warn against the stop-smoking pill Champix)

One sub-headline reads:
"Risiken übersteigen definitiv den Nutzen" (= The risks are definitely higher than the usefulness" )

...
I always wonder:
If you take a stop-smoking drug and you commit suicide under the influence of that drug, does that count as a "success"?
After all, when you are dead, you no longer smoke.

(sarcasm intended - years of FUD campaigns do that to a person... )

I don't know whether the drug company would count it as a quit-smoking success, but I wouldn't be surprised if the health authorities would count it a smoking-related death...

Are you familiar with this website? I always get nervous when I see this on the home page...

Does Smokeless Cigarette Save Money?

The answer is absolutely yes. You are guaranteed to save money with an e-cigarette. Because once you purchase your starter kit, you will pay nothing except to refill your cartridges and replace worn batteries or atomizers.

With the cost of a cartridge about $1 and its equivalence to approximately 15 to 20 cigarettes, you will save between four and five dollars per pack of cigarettes.
