OK played around with pins added an adapter (that just came in the mail today) and still getting the non reading on my mvp2. In fact I did everything everyone suggested and no luck. The only tank I've had any luck with is my iclear 16b out of my 4 tanks. I've had enough of screwing around with tanks and I'm looking into getting a RDA. I'm a little intimidated by them though. The building coils part isn't so intimidating, I get the basic concepts. Its the ohms law and safety warnings I've read that are intimidating to me (usually I just adjust my MVP to taste). I still feel like such a noob I worry im going to screw something up lol. With the protection features the mvp2 offers am I worrying for nothing? What would be a good atomizer or should I wait until I know more of what I am doing. I've been vaping for a month now

Edit: OK I should have added I am not having the same issues with all of my tanks. The other tanks work but they either leak or give other issues. Its only my aerotank that says non. The aero doesn't work on my other ego style batteries either

from your description, it's sounding like it might be a problem with the mvp firing pin not making contact and not the actual clearos..

the 16b is probably working still because its ego threaded and not 510

Are any of your other tanks that are not working ego threaded as well?

I highly doubt that all 4 of your tanks have post issues where they are preventing the device from not firing..

do they fire on another mod besides the mvp? thats another way to test them

I could be wrong but i had the same issue with mine before and it was the same situation.. either way good luck!

Jamie , your MVP will keep you out of trouble as far as shorts go , rebuilding is not difficult and there's a wealth of information on ECF about it , I wish I had started rebuilding a lot sooner then I did , it would have saved me a lot of frustration with kanger crap , the kayfun is light years ahead of anything kanger puts out and it's an easy build IMO , I'm linking you to a high quality kayfun clone at a great price , better to start rebuilding now and save money , frustration and headaches .

Thank you that was exactly what I was hoping for. Are clones close to the same quality?

if I screw my aerotank too tight on my provari it doesnt read either... i think theres an issue with the base of it with certain mods..

think i've heard of people switching the aero base with the protank 2 .. you could try that if you have a pt2 and see if its the same problem?

Aerotank base is compatible with other Protanks. It's a popular upgrade. Testing the base is an excellent idea and cheap to replace. It's that or the atty. Got a ton of Kangers around here and they are excellent rewicked with cotton IMO.

Center pin on your MVP sounds like it's gotten pressed in to far. Two things to try. Using a small screwdriver pry on the center pin of the MVP and move around the pin. Oh a paper clip will work too. Second thing to try is a 510-510 adapter. Most of them have a longer center pin and i have gotten one of my problem Kayfun's to work using that.
