Fed Up With Locking Rings? Bed Side Mod Stand MOD Holder

Well I am not sure if this is the proper place to hold this, but here we go.

My complaint may seem as if I am just looking for something to gripe about, but I really am not. I am wondering if there are any other people in the community that wished there was some sort of mod holder that could hold your mod vertical without the user having to engage the locking mechanism. The reason for my complaint is as follow.

1. Obviously anybody that prefers a GENNY cannot lay their MOD on its side.
2. Because you can't lay the MOD on it's side the only option is it sit the MOD down straight up on your desk, nightstand, floor or what have you.
3. This is rather annoying because the way I choose to vape is taking 5 - 10 nice big draws than go back to what I was doing previously.
4. Always having to engage the locking ring is starting to become and annoyance, to the point I posted this thread.

If anybody has a TIP, TRICK or suggestion I am all ears, because now that I am fully acclimated to my GENNY, I don't want to go back to the alternatives, but the annoyance is almost leading me back to my provari and carto tank if I am working responding to email, or laying in bed watching a movie.

Any Wisdom?

Cheers.

ps
I thought about posting a photo of my hide laying in bed frusterate over this little tiny miniscule annoyance, but I spared the rest of this group from the site of my gourd. lol:ohmy:

If I had the mod on hand, I could hammer out a sort of rustic desktop stand that would do exactly what you want it to, keep the unit upright, or mostly upright (easier to balance it if it's at a little bit of an angle) and elevate it off the desk.

If you know anyone at all who's in to metalworking, this wouldn't cost more than a few dollars worth of stainless wire at the bare minimum.

I'm with you. Though I don't have any genny styles (yet) I wouldn't mind having some sort of stand for my mods to keep them vertical. Even if you don't have a genny, It's good to keep at least your clearos/attys upright so the wicks have juice, IMHO. I've noticed that w/ my pt2 and 3. If I lay it down for a period of time, I have to set it vertical and let it wick for a few seconds before I can get a good hit.

Perhaps someone could come out with something similar to a guitar stand. The device would be supported on the bottom and the side and if you wanted, It could fold up/collapse for portability.
