On December, we’ll pick a grand prize winner, two second prize winners and three third place winners! The art will hang in the new Tasty Vapor store to open soon in our new Oakland location.

Art must be Tasty Vapor themed/related, can be fun, sarcastic, artistic, sales-driven, we’ll leave this up to YOU, the artist! Submissions must be in PNG format, 11x17, full color and 300dpi. Submissions must be received by no later than 12:00 noon (PST) on November 30th. Email your submissions to artcontest@tastyvapor.us.

Short story is that it uses lighted panels to animate designs. We already send out EL panels to our resellers. It's the Tasty Vapor logo animated like a neon sign.

We've only had ONE submission so far. I hope to see more. If there is a great lack of response, we may have to postpone the contest. I don't want to do that. Really looking forward to handing out prizes.

I'm am old school production/commercial artist & I wish I had kept up with all the new computer aided stuff .
It's only been 4-5 days tho, so maybe the entries will start pouring in...these things do take time

I have several almost done! Waiting on reply to my request for a hi-rez copy of the logo. Copy and paste won't cut it for a 300 DPI graphic. Could you either email or post your original, pretty please?

I do believe this challenge is open to all of ECF. There are so many sub-forums it would be difficult to be a "regular" on all of them. Seems to me that many member are not interested in the time-consuming graphic contests, which may narrow down the field of entries. Sure would love to see your submission. Guava, I have been around almost 2 years also, so although not a regular TV poster, I do stop by to view the posts.

It's only been a few days (as others have said) but any thoughts on some form of submission gallery? Where folks might see what is being submitted already? Get inspired..etc..? Just a thought to help things things going...

my kid is the same....he can draw or paint you anything and send it to you but lost on the particular way it needs to be sent.
