Sheesh... now that you dashed all of my hopes

here are a couple more I did, trying to keep with the same color scheme of the 1st car... (but now I don't even feel like will NOT be sending them in... ) Maybe I can still win some juice... LOL!!

Man, this contest closes at Noon tomorrow. And I'm afraid there just aren't enough submissions to operate a proper contest. That in mind, we'll have to just extend the contest for one more week!

So, December 6th at Noon, we'll close this contest. Hopefully by that time, we'll have more people submitting art, rather than the same people submitting a TON of art. This is perfectly fine, but when you only have a few people participating, it kind of kills the excitement of having to judge things.

All you people who are sitting on the fence about submitting anything, STOP IT! Submit something!

Make it about vaping, make it about Tasty Vapor, keep it creative, keep it original. Pasting a logo on some picture isn't really what we had in mind as we were hoping to see something very creative and inspiring. At least I HOPE we inspire a few of you enough to want to participate at that level.

I find that comment rather insulting!!! I haven't sent my submissions in yet and perhaps I won't even bother will NOT be sending them in at all now... You were never really clear as to what you were looking for, and maybe THAT'S why not many people have been "inspired"??

Especially with an attitude like that!!! Besides, you get what you pay for... LOL!!

WOW Geoff, that is about the most condescending comment I have ever seen from a vendor. Please consider this my official withdrawal of all of my entries. And to repeat what you stated in the reply to my request for a hi rez logo, if used for anything....(edit) it is grounds for legal dispute. I have no interest in your logo and now that includes your contest, so please do not reproduce my entries.

I totally support spacekitty's remarks regarding your attitude about this thread. You asked for artwork, we put forth effort and time to comply, and you insult those efforts. So not as cool as you think you are! Tasty Vapor has nothing to offer that makes this kind of attitude acceptable, as evidenced by your lack of forum traffic. If I could edit my post to remove my entries I would, but as forum owner, I would appreciate if you would do just that.

At the risk of sounding like an ..........it's weird how many non-regular TV posters showed up for this. Most of us TV regulars know who's been around and who hasn't.

It looks like it's all up to YOU guys/gals now, because most of us 'non-regulars' don't want to stick around and be insulted anymore!!

Seems to me that Geoff just shot himself in the foot... because instead of encouraging MORE people to submit entries, he now has LESS than he started with... LMAO!!!


(btw, people tend to wait until the last minute to submit their entries in a contest of this nature, so if it hasn't happened by now, extending the deadline probably won't help much, either)

Perhaps I should have stipulated that in the beginning, that we were ALL hoping to see something very creative and thought out. It was not my intention to insult. I apologize if it came across this way. It's NOT that I am egotistical or snotty, I am direct. I don't sugar coat my words.

I'm sorry... but what part of the word "withdraw" did you not understand?? Both of the Ladies here that stated publicly their intent to withdraw their submissions from the Contest, and also to have their posts removed from this thread, have no intention of continuing any further in the Contest.

And I did not see any sort of 'Official' Rules stating that any submissions would become the property of Tasty Vapor, blah, blah, blah... or any other sort of legal mumbo-jumbo, nor was any sort of contract entered into between any of the parties involved. Therefore, you have no right to go against their wishes, and no choice other than to cease and desist from using their property(s) any further for any purpose whatsoever!!!

You will just have to hope that you get some more entries in the next week... because you just lost all of ours!!!
