So today I was feeling down and I fell off the wagon and had an analog after not having one in almost a month. I feel bad and at the same time, I'm kinda glad I did. It tasted GROSS! I didn't like it at all.

But now I feel bad because I feel like I've taken my body a few steps backwards in healing itself from smoking. Have I just ruined everything with my body's healing process?

1 analog in 30 days, that is reason for celebration. Now shoot for 1 analog in 90 days. It happens, keep going. Remember why you started vaping to begin with. It is like that ex you visit after 30 days of being broke up. You have a fling and then you remember why you broke up in the first place. vape on!

Thanks guys. I immediately went back to my pen right after. I'm still trying to find my ADV but I'm enjoying the search.

I am proud that I did not like the analog. My tongue and throat definitely hated it and I quickly went back to my pen after. Thanks guys. This forum really is a big help with quitting.

Fagettaboutit! You just had a quit smoking experiment - that's all. And you just found out that like for so many of us the smoking experience turns on you and goes gross. So, what have we learned? Do you want to repeat that again? Probably not. You had one cigarette - and it turned out to be it's own worst negative reinforcement. I see no problem here.

This isn't the American Cancer Society "You just had a cigarette and are now a total loser" quit smoking program. There are no hard rules for how this works. Everyone does it differently and that seems to be working out very nicely. Oh, maybe one rule: You need to have a genuine desire to quit. Everything else just sorts itself out from there on an individual basis.

Relax. Don't make me come over there and beat you up for beating yourself up.

I fell off, too, a few weeks ago..was on an overnight road trip and at the time only had one mod that needed to be recharged. Bought a pack, had 3 cigs out of it and found the taste to be so horrible and not satisfying...yuck. Was soooo happy to get back to vaping that night. I just try to focus on the 700 cigs I have NOT smoked since Jan 8, 2014 (when I officially made the switch to vaping) and not the 3 cigs I had that night. Somewhere here I still have the pack I bought that night but have NO interest in even knowing where it is.
Now I have a MVP 2.0 with a way longer battery and I still have the itaste vv that I started out with...
