Okay I'm here again. I fell off the wagon for quite some time and finally have a reason to commit to this again.

The reasons I fell off the wagon:
The taste was kinda weird for me, the instant gratification wasn't there, and I grew too complacent in simply buying smokes.

The reason I'm making a refreshed effort:
I met someone online who lives five states away from me, and I want so much to be able to visit her that I'm wanting to save money by not smoking. She doesn't smoke and quit a couple years ago due to a back surgery she needed. So, in order for me to be able to have the funding to visit her, I need to quit cigarettes. At $64 a carton, 4 cartons a month, that's WAAAAAY too much to be spending on something with no real benefit.

So, I've ordered 2 packs of V4L 555 in 36mg and 2 packs of 555 in 24mg. That should get me going well enough to start.

I hope everyone out there has found a real reason to switch, and hopefully it's not only about the cost. :) Take care all.

Just keep at it, and you will succeed! It sounds like you want it bad enough. I hated smoking for a very long time, and couldn't quit. My little girl finally asked me why I coughed all the time, and asked me to quit. I did it for her! I feel great though! I haven't had an analog in over 8 weeks. I walked by someone smoking outside the store today, and the smell made me gag! I couldn't believe it! I am now worse than most non smokers I know!

Yeah, its real easy to blast into the Kwiky Mart and grab a pack of smokes. We all backslide at some point. No big deal. You've got some good reasons to be motivated now, a plan and the gear to make it happen. All you gotta do is make it happen. If it still seems weird, come on back and let us know. The collective group here will figure out a way to help.

Best Of Luck!

It happens man no worries! Smoking is really hard to quit! I've had a few slip ups myself but after smoking for 20 years , I realize that a 20 year bad habit can be hard to break! I've been vaping for a month now, but sometimes I still get that urge to have an analogue when I see someone smoking, I just puff on my pv at that point :p

Glad to see you have a goal in sight to keep you from smoking!

I've recently slipped off the wagon. Loads of emotional crap landed on my lap- a death in the family and now there's a bit of a family feud about the estate and I got dragged into the mess- something I wanted to avoid. Why do people get so crazed about inheritance monies, when they ought to be feeling the loss of that person? It's nuts. Anyway, without going into further details, I got blamed for a lot of things I had no idea about etc and it hurt me very much. I went back to analogs and have not vaped much of late. The stress is just too much for me right now. I'm still vaping though, and at some point I hope I can get analogs out of my life for good. I just can't right now as they're still my comfort blanket. At least I keep to vaping whilst at the computer and at night- it's only during the day that I go out for the wicked weed. I know I can do it again, and it will just take time.
