He is under contract for this season with Woods in Sprint Cup and cannot contend for the Points Championship so he isn't going anywhere. He is under contract with Roush in the Nationwide where he should win a Championship I think. Next season he will be driving for Roush in Sprint Cup.

NASCAR changed the rules this year and all drivers had to announce before the season started which divison Sprint/Nationwide/Craftsman Truck they will compete for a championship in. This was to keep Cup drivers from possibly taking more than one title. He announced for Nationwide already. He can change but the points for the Daytona 500 wouldn't count so he would have 0 right now.

He never would have competed without Robby helping him throught the middle of the race!!! The kid raced one hell of a race -- and showed how overrated the Hendricks boys are!:evil::evil::evil: <----4 evils!

It sucks to root for the one-car guy -- but you all know I love the underdogs!:thumb: I just wish they'd mention him occasionally on the telecasts.........:grr::grr::grr:

Hey now...I love them Hendricks boys....and Trevor is a huge fan of Jeff. Jeff took him under his wing last week and was the first to help him with the drafting....he (trevor) was overjoyed with the offer. He said he didn't really know how to do it......and then...lol....he preferred to be the pusher....lol. He proved at the end though that he could handle taking the front spot....VERY impressive. I think this was the first time I really enjoyed the WEEK long Daytona coverage.

That's right, I do remember them saying that.

Here, there, everywhere!
I root for 99, my hubby 17 and my 8 year old 4 (of course now that she has all the #9 stuff his number changes). There are two drivers we absolutely can't stand (though one of them is a very good driver). I am always also rooting for Jr. in the background. If one of our three can't win it - then I want him to.

We have season ticket to Kansas and we get to cup races this year - Woop Woop!!! We camp within walking distance of the track and LOVE IT!!! We went to the Brickyard last year and my hubby got to go to Bristol three years ago.

It is truly an All American sport and I love it!
