Welcome and congrats. what they^^^^^said.
It is not at all uncommon to vape a lot in the beginning.
You need to keep that tobacco monkey off your back.
Vape whatever you feel you need to not smoke.
If you start feeling nauseous or get a mild headache it is a sign of too much nic. No worries though, just set the vape down for 5 or 10 min. and you'll be fine.
And yeah, drink lots more water than normal. I use flavour drops and can easily put back up to a gallon a day.

Enjoy your new smoke-free lifestyle. Cheers.

@chillin1564 Hello and welcome to the forums. As long as you are not getting a headache, dizzy, or nauseous have at it. I vape 3.5 on avg a day of 24 mg. I smoked about 1-2 packs a day for about 28 years. Your mileage may very as everyone is different. Also, I just read about the kit you have and I see that it is a sub ohm set up. You may need to get a lower mg juice as sub-ohm coils are way more efficient and requires less nic content for the same effect as a higher ohm coil with higher nic. I use 24 mg nic with my 1.5 ohm coils were as I use 6 mg nic with my sub-ohm coils. That weird feeling may be you getting too much nic. I would suggest getting lower like 6 mg or if you want to use what you have, hit it less amount than you are as a suggestion.

Yeah, it is sub-ohm, but I think it can be used for mouth-to-lung vaping if you lower the air flow. But like the previous poster said, much of the new gear produces more vapor and most people use somewhat lower nic levels. With the older 7-10 watt, 1.8 ohm coils, 12-18 mg was common, now more people use 3-6 mg. That being said, it's OK to start out a little high and make sure the cravings aren't making you want to switch back to cigs.

Welcome to vaping, Chillin1564! You will find that vaping will take away the cigarettes with ease. Don't worry about vaping and smoking, eventually you will realize that vaping is all you need and one day you will just not buy another pack and you are then done with cigarettes. It's that easy once you get the hang of vaping and find the right juice and hardware.

To avoid confusion we use different terms for smoking and vaping. If you smoke, that means you lit a cigarette. If you are using your ecig, what you do with it is called vaping.

4.5ml isn't much in vaping terms. I'm a light 10 watt vaper and I generally vape 10ml to as much as 15ml in a day. That's two to three tanks in my Kayfun atomizer. There are people who use low resistance (cloud blower) atomizers who go through 30ml or more in a day.

I know one thing, and that is i see infinitely more support from members of forums such as ECF than i do within my environment.

If you have developed a craving for vapour then i'd say that you're going in the right direction. I'd also mention that you shouldn't be concerned about vaping too much. If you think you getting through too much juice then up your nicotine MG's.

I vape about 3ml of 24mg juice a day and i do hit it quite hard. I sometimes wonder whether i'm spending too much time doing it too. Maybe i should up my nicotine MG's as well !.:)

hi everyone, i want to restore this thread , because i have a few questions that interest me and i have no one else whom i could ask

from nov.1st-5th (today five days), i stopped smoking and started vaping. yesterday i was in trouble. i began to feel weak, nauseous and burns me on the sides of the head.
my stomach was acting as if I starve for a long time, it took all day even though i ate.

from what i can tell i do not think it would be an overdose of nicotine because i was used to smoke a lot and sometimes 2-3 consecutive. my heart beat as always.i also had pain in the lungs for a minute.

i'm not sure what is happening, it is possible that the body cleanse? or what could it be?
today i bought a different brand of liquid with 6mg i feel better and it tastes great but still burns on the sides of the head (slightly)

i have a feeling that the juice i used was ****

do you have similar experiences? what would you advise me?
thank you

( i forgot to mention the liquid i used last 4 days I vaped up about 10-12 ml not more , yesterday very little because I was scared)

When I quit going through withdrawals was a very rough and physically painful period but that was my experience and others will react differently. I would suggest if you are as concerned as you sound that you get the opinion of a Medical Professional to rule out if it is something more than just withdrawals.

I have had similar symptoms (nauseous, light headed, weak, stomach problems).. but I was chain vaping 24-30mg. I cut back on the nic and problems went away. If you are only at 6mg through I'm not sure too much nic is the problem. Wish I could help more but too many possible variables, could be a reaction to the juice, the wick, or the coil. Maybe try some 0mg nic and see if that helps or different juice or coils. The coils are unlikely, but when troubleshooting unknowns it is usually easiest to just eliminate the various variables and see what helps.
