My God, it must have taken you all night to type all that out! Needless to say I didn't read the whole list but it looks like you've got a pretty good start. There's always new and better stuff coming out so I hope you have a large house. You'll know if you're spending too much when you can't pay your bills. We all go through this when we first start out. You'll slow down when you find the right setup but you can never have too much juice.

That total almost made me spew my Starbucks. lol.
Looks like your getting ready for some fairly serious DIY'ing there.
Hello btw! I am new here, and to ecigs.

Sounds like a good idea. Going to get some now.

AHAHA

Took like 30mins to type out. I been meaning to do it, but got lazy until now. I knew I was spending alot, but was scared to total it up.

I think I got a stable setup so far. Really want a PV to see what's it's about. There goes another $200+ :(.

As for the juice, I haven't found a perfect juice that I can mix yet or buy. Once I do that I know things will slow down.

Just waiting to go into maintenance mode. Replace carts and batteries.

I do want to buy an atomizer to direct drip for sample some of my DYI juice. Don't like putting a few drops in carto then cleaning them immediately. Also I guess I can sample them in my tanks, but it's not the same as a carto. Can you folks suggest a good one to fits my ego batteries?

Any 510 atomizer will work but Ikenvape.com has the best bang for you buck but Isaac is higher than most. They are worth the money IMO.

Good PV's can be under $200 so you're safe there. I recommend a cheap box mod just to see what they hype is about. madvapes.com has a variable voltage box mod for $35. Nice little mod and you'll see why a bunch of us like VV.

I hear you. I've been spending a bit too since I got my kit and I am just starting to order juice now. So far, all I have ordered are samplers but it adds up quickly. I tend to get a bit manic about new stuff too. So many e liquids to try and ecig models. I know I am going to grow tired of recharging my KR808D-1 many times a day and step up eventually to a bigger battery but I'm trying to hold back a little and just try to find the juices I like first.

All told, I've spent about $600 since I started. That includes the ridiculously overpriced started RN4081 I started with (from a mall kiosk), another additionally overpriced compatible unit, 2 Echo kits, and lots and lots of juice. I'm not in the black yet, but I'm settling in with my flavors, so now it's just a matter of making sure I have enough cartos to keep me vaping.

As my signature attests, it'll be a while (4-ish weeks at this writing) before I'm ahead, but the benefits so far outweigh any negatives. And I think if I can get myself into the black at some point, I may treat myself to a decent mod - maybe a GLV3 or Reo....

Everybody , or at least most people spend a lot when their fist getting started . I have spent more than you , but still beats smoking , any day of the week . And , you have enough , to last , for at least several months , so that will help , even it out . When you get ready for a "MOD" you can jump over to the classifieds , and see what peaks your interest . Anywho , welcome to the ECF .

I took a look at that box mod and it said that you need a screwdriver or fingernail to adjust the voltage. Since I have no figure nails (I keep them short) isn't it a hassle to have to find a screwdriver or carry one around with all the time? I would really like to try one of these but the screwdriver put me off. How is it working out for you?

the screwdriver just takes the place of one of the batteries you would have to carry around anyway.... I was gonna try that mod as a cheap way in to moding too.... but its been out of stock for a while now.

Hmm. My wife and I have spent around $2100 in ten weeks or so, about double what we would have spent on tobacco. So I don't think you are outside the norm. If you are going to make it work it takes time, patience and cash to find the right system for you unless you drop lucky straight away. I'm not bothered though - we have at least three different types of working PV's each, loads of atty's, carto's, clearo's, chargers, batteries, bottles, syringes etc etc and enough DIY unflavoured NIC and flavours to last us nearly six months. By then we will be several hundred pounds in the black as we do not need to buy anything else.

Yeah, right... :)

I have very short nails and can turn the dial adjustment. Hmmm...only other options would be the Buzz Pro/Infinity Pro/VVPV coming soon to notcigs, the ProVari, or the Darwin (never owned one).

As for atty's or carto's, I run regular resistance.
