Figured out why my package was late

I placed an order that shipped to me, in New Zealand, last Monday. Normally my packages arrive within 5 working days, but day 5 came and it wasn't here yet. On day 6 it did arrive. With some stickers on it explaining that the package was opened by New Zealand Biosecurity. 8-o!

Everything I ordered was still safely wrapped in their bubble blanket, so it all turned out well.

I haven't seen any others. They are advertising a nicotine free e-cigarette on radio lately. Someone I work with has ordered one and I am quite interested to see what it looks like.

Hi All,

Yep there are two of us on here (Kiwi's that is) and if you include my partner (Converted to vaping recently) that makes three that I know of. Awaiting my second order from V4L (My partners shorty kit and a bunch of cartomizers) and we are into our 6th day now (Stink). Maybe we are facing the same as you did Sonnetjie. Funnily I actually read most of your posts when researching e cigs as wanted to know the experiences of a New Zealander and it lead me to V4L (thanks). I just love vaping and dont miss the old skool cigs at all (20 yrs a pack a day). Unfortunately I was a mug an ordered the elusion e cig (released in NZ /no nic @ 95 bucks). It was pretty average with little vapour and of course no nic but was at least an intro. I just knew it had to be better than that. Very happy with the vapour king, very happy. So basically me and my partner will "stalk the mailman".............until it arrives.

Apologies for the double post but figured I really should give a few more details about the elusion e cig available in New Zealand should other Kiwi's want to know (they will come.....eventually). I bought mine in Auckland from a Three Guys (basically a mid-size shop). Cost me 95 bucks (although you can get them a little cheaper on-line). Mine was white (maybe can get a black one?) and its a two piece like the kr808d1 and at this stage they have about 4 flavours. The regular flavoured cart came with the kit (tobacco?), unfortunately for me it was pretty average, just my opinion as I know tastebuds differ but it was ghastly.

Firstly Ive just compared it to my VK and its length looks to be in the shorty range. To me it seems heavier although my partner disputes it . It was my first intro to vaping but I couldn't get it to produce much vapour.

Lastly the cartridges didn't seem to last very long.

I hope your friend has a better experience than I did and maybe it will suit better (trying to be positive). Basically although it is an e cig I don't believe I started vaping until my first pull from my VK.

So glad my ramblings led someone in the right directions. NZ is a pretty small market... Still a bit weird that it's not more mainstream here, seeing as one of the best studies about them got done here.

No one at work knew I smoked and after my friend told me that they ordered an elusion I had a quiet word with her and told her to get back to me if they weren't happy, as there are other options to make it better. Have you had a look to see if you can refill the elusion cartridges? I was hoping I could help them out by refilling them with some of my juice.

At work at the moment but will have a look at the cartridge and will let you know later this afternoon. I do know that they only sell carts ($20 for 5!!), no juice.................................I hope the elusion doesnt put your friend off the whole vaping thing.

And yep............I really hope today is delivery day as me and my partner are now down to rations which is funny and sad at the same time.

Checked out the elusion cart and yes I believe you could refill as can either pop cap at mouthpiece end or maybe drip batt end. Might make it a better proposition for your friend for sure

Oh yeah and no juice in order coming as is only second order and still trying flavours before settling for each of us. Isnt far away tho.......

I will never put myself in this position again. Next order will be beefing up stocks and back-ups...............

omg im a happy camper. Butterscotch currenty wafting from my ladies shorty (love to know what a non-vaper thinks of that sentence, lmfao!!).

life is good. Thanks V4L really appreciated and while Im at it thanks Mark for your patience in dealing with my inane emails. New order in the works as never want to be in that position again. Finally, thanks Sonnetjie for the supportive words.

Thanks for the feedback on the elusion. Had a look at my friends one and it looks exactly like a v4l carto except for the threads, so I pointed her in the right juice direction. Also gave her the v4l link so she can maybe switch before they spend more money.
