The condom method works really well for the 510 cartos. I push it in from the mouthpiece end until I see juice coming from the battery end, give it a quick spin in my lanyard, then top if off with another condom push. Before I store them away I give it a quick blow from the mouthpiece end to remove any extra juice that might end up in my mouth later. :)

This method seems to work best if you do a large batch at a time. I sit and do about 20 while I'm watching TV at night and that's enough to run me 3-4 days.

comparing the condom fill method between a 510 and an 808 style cartomizer I find the 510 has one built in problem....because of the male thread design it is impossible to get all the juice from the condom into the cartomizer.....and, since you can't get that left over juice back into the dropper bottle and you can't stick the condom back in your pocket with juice in it......you have a problem......

I just pop the top and fill, almost 1 ml. Give it a second to soak in and a shake or two to speed it up. I fill till flooded, blow them out just like you would an atty but not as hard. Wipe the battery connector end and I am good to go.

Haven't tried the syringe but so far this is a fast easy way to do it. I refill the same way but add about half as much but most of the time I don't bother putting the top back on and add a bit more frequently using about six drops at a time. The trick is to add along the sides and not down the middle.

If you're doing this on-the-go I can see where it might be more of a pain, but using the condom method at home on the 510 is quite easy. Every dropper bottle type I have has a top that pops off, so I really don't see that as a problem.

1. Refill with condom method from mouthpiece end until you see juice coming out of battery end.
2. Place condom on battery end and spin (or shake it toward battery end).
3. Top off using step #1 again.
4. Blow excess juice out from mouthpiece to battery end.
5. Replace condoms and store upright on battery end.
6. Pour remaining back into bottle and wipe out condom end with a tissue.

I find it helps to leave the cartos standing upright for about 12 hours or so to give the excess juice a little time to drip down from between the cap and inner o-ring. When I'm loading up in the morning I just grap 3-4 cartos and place them (battery end down), in the watch-pocket of my jeans. As I use them up I just turn them upside-down or stick 'em in a different pocket. :)

Condom method works, but I plan on picking up a syringe to use when I am at home. Seems like it would waste a little less juice (not much wasted with condom, but a little). I'll post again if I get around to that today and let you know which I like better.

If you pick up a syringe, make sure the needle is at least 18ga. I tried w/one from my vet for my dog that was never used, and the liquid was too thick to go through the tiny needle. Happy vaping.

If you get a syringe, get a "blunt". Suppliers have them.
I'm not sure, but a nic-stick injury is probably not good for you.

I dont really know what a blunt is. I'll have to look into it. I just go by what SunVapor, Hoosier and all the other DIY pros recommend. So if a person is a little elderly and shaky, by all means go blunt. I would hate to see you ..... your finger. But I look at it this way: If you're going to fool around w/nicotine juice, there's always a little unsafety. Thanks for the suggestion. LOL, I may change to the blunt when I enter the elderly ranks.
