Hmmm, I've filled three total, all with syringe. The third one works great and tastes fine right off the bat. The other two have been sitting for at least half an hour and still taste absolutely horrible. I'll try the condom method too, but I'm thinking there is something wrong with the first two? I'm a little wary of filling any more as it's a lot of juice to waste when they don't work right.

Hi....I'm using both the 1.7 resurrectors & the Jumbos & use the fill & wait method; fill then wait then fill again. Sounds like you've been letting them sit long enough. I think I'd put the first 2 aside & slowly fill another & see what happens. You can always clean the first two....any chance you flooded them or didn't turn them while filling? Personally, I don't use a syringe to fill anymore....found that I was flooding them every time.....just my clutzy way - it certainly works for a lot of others.

It could be high VG, the cartomizer not being completely filled, or that you aren't waiting long enough after filling. But I've had the same issue with these particular cartomizers, and someone else said that it was the primer that they use. He said that the taste goes away if you keep using it, but it hasn't for me. I contacted the vendor and he said that the black ones have more issues, and he sent me some of the stainless steel ones to replace them. I haven't had any issues with the replacements.

I never heard that cartomizers comes with the primer yet.
But some atomizers do.

I got the jumbos and had the same burning issues on both. I let them sit for 24 hours and still tasted bad. I got 3 left unopened and just went back to using the Boge 2.0. I did spin the juice out and it was about 2.2 ml so they were full. Jumbos hold 2.5ml. I only tried them after all the great reviews but I will stick with the Boge.

I've been receiving primer in both the boges and resurrectors and YES have had to throw some out because at least one in each 5 pack tastes burnt. Really ticks me off and I'm ready to stop using them. BTW, I've ordered them from three different vendors and have the same problem from them all. I just received this big boy today and loving it so far. eGo Mega Dual Coil 4 ML Cartomizer LR 1.5 Ohm, 5 Pack - E Cig : Joye eGo & eGo-T | Boge Leo | Cartomizers | E-Liquid | Electronic Cigarettes | eGo Tank
I was pretty fearful filling it with 100 or so drops of juice but four hours in and no problems.
In any case, I've been experiencing some real problems with burnt taste too.

Interesting. I am shaking the juice. Not sure of the VG/PG ratio. I have about seven different bottles but only two list the ratio (neither of which I've used in these). They've been sitting for hours now and still taste awful. I'm pretty sure they are not flooded, but are filled enough that they shouldn't be burning. They are the black ones. Two of the four I've filled have been fine. Between this and the leaking tank issue when I first got this PV earlier this week, I am down to about 1 ml of the juice I like - argh!! Waiting on the mail to come Monday before I try to fill any more :)

If these are the same ones that were initially burnt, then that taste is going to be difficult to get rid of and letting them sit now won't help. They need to sit with juice in them before you fire them for the first time. I haven't had too much problem with the mini/shorty 1.7s that I use the most, but I have had one or two of the larger ones burn because I didn't let them sit. I actually pulled a real bonehead move and fired one with no juice in it. About a second of that is all it took to burn.

no longer than I've been at this maybe I shouldn't chime in on this thread but just got my resurrectors from ccv. I had some other cartos from another vendor and he has a small diagram (very simple) of how to fill carto from the threaded end by dripping. It take a couple of minutes but in my experience with 3 paks of regular smoktech cartos, and trying the condom method, syringe, dripping on top. Dripping them full from threaded end is by far the best way I've found. the 1.7 resurrectors xl, I've found they hold around 50 drops. every 10 or 15 drops wait a min. look from underneath to see if juice has wet filler. once you see filler getting wet let sit for about 15 min then let'er rip. I do use 60/40 pg/vg. Hope this helps

Thanks everyone. I did let them sit initially and I know they were full. I just came across a very long thread on here where people were having the same problem with these, so I may have a few bad ones in the batch. I wish you didn't have to fill them all the way up to know they were bad - that's some frustrating and expensive trial & error!

If you're not getting good results when filling with a syringe, you're doing it wrong.

Tried:
Dripping to fill, mouthpiece end: too slow, don't think it reliably gets all the way to the connector end.
Condom fill: too messy and juice remains in the condom-- put back in the bottle or let it sit until next time?
Dripping to fill, connector end: oh, now this is just ridiculous, trying to get it in through this tiny hole!

I consistently get 1.2mL into my Fusion cartos using a syringe. I put half down one side, half down the other, blow the center tube clear, wipe the connector, put it on my PV and vape immediately. No waiting, no problems.
