for the first try I used my redneck filter .worked fine. now I came up with this one .used some plastic drinking glasses and natural coffee filters .each tower has 4 and one has 5 stages just to see if it makes a difference . formed the paper around the stand and pushed it in one of the glasses to the bottom . formed the 2nd paper around a vg bottle pushed it in about 1.25 inches higher ...folded the edges over and put arubber band around it ..so this gives me two filters per glass .stacked 2 sections that gives 4 filters .used a rubber band around the bottom filter glass to raise it up for more room for juice collecting. in the bottom glass with the stand still on .on one I used a paper filter to raise the glass up a bit so it filters 5 times . as you can see the top glasses I cut the stem of which is hollow and makes nice funnel ! the glasses came from a dollar store 5 for a buck !got 20 . now in the slow cooker ...6 batches ...so I need 6 towers so not to slow thing down. I take the tobacco mess and put it throw a kitchen strainer lined with a couple of layers of cheese cloth to just get the bulk solids out and pour the liqid in the filter tops ...still hot .expect to filter overnight but gravity works fine .soo....2 batches 2 filters 6 batches 6 filters unles you want to work on it for the next 6 days and each time reheat it to make it work better.for the extaction used pg just because it is thinner.
