Final Questions about the MVP2 before I pull the trigger...

My question is: will the MVP2 give me what I am looking for? I ask because I am new, so I don't know how do you achieve what I want or if the MVP2 can do that.

1) I want more vapor on certain juices. when I am at home relaxing, I want to vape my more aromatic juices, and more often, so I would use lower nicotine. For my normal vaping needs the EVOD set-up is fine.

2) Also I have discovered that different voltage/wattage/ohm combos affect not only taste but vapor production depending on the juice and tank used. There are times when I want to vape big clouds, other times, I just want a stealth hit, with as low vapor as possible.

3) Will I be able to use my current Kanger Tanks? I am loving the bottom coil tanks and I have 6 of them now. Do I need an adapter?

Will the MVP2 allow me to satisfy those needs? My research says yes, but I have not tried it or anything similar. So if anyone in the community could answer these questions and lead me to where I could learn how the different settings / combos get what results, that would be great. I know already about the juice balance of PG/VG effects on vapor production, flavor, and throat hit, this question concerns about the hardware settings. I am no hardcore recreational vaper, but I did quit analogs 5 weeks ago, the current set up replaces my daily analogs just great, but I was also a pipe smoker, and I am looking to fill in that gap that the pipe left (big aromatic clouds of Black Cherry smoke :vapor:while enjoying my coffee in the morning and at night on my man cave).

Very respectfully,

-Big Al

I own the MVP 2 and it should give you the vape you're looking for. The biggest advantage of VV/ VW is you can adjust the power according to the juice you're vaping- lighter juices= lower power and darker tobacco juices= higher power. Being able to adjust the power with diff juices can really bring the flavor out.
With a set voltage PV the only choice we have in adjusting the vape is to use lower or higher ohms.
Here's a great link explaining it further. My experience is tobacco users benefit the most from VV/ VW IMO.
"High powered vaping provides several differences over low powered vaping. Chiefly, higher power produces a hotter vapor and requires less draw to produce an equivalent volume of vapor. It’s similar to the difference between sucking soda through a thin, narrow straw and a fat, wide one. The other major difference is in taste. Some juices have a stronger flavor at a higher power, while others have a stronger flavor at lower power."

I had an mvp v2 and it was a nice little mod. The only thing I had any issue with is the positive battery pin getting pushed down when screwing down tanks like the protank too tight. Then if you try and put a carto on it it wouldn't make a connection because it couldn't reach the pin. But all you have to do is get a pair of tweezers and gently grab that positive pin and pull it up a little until you can screw down the carto and it makes a connection. But if you aren't switching between tanks and cartos often then that shouldn't be an issue. Besides that it worked pretty good. Fired every time I pushed the button, held a charge for good couple days but that depends on how much you vape. It never died in the middle of the day though as long as I charged it every night and I did charge every night so it never left me stranded. It's a pretty decent device for the price. Oh and one more thing. You ha e to be careful how hard you tighten down the beauty ring as well. So basically just don't over tighten anything and you should be golden.

Hello Al... And a BIG Welcome to ECF! I moved up from Vision Spinners to an MVP 2.0
and what a difference in power... WHEW! ... I still use a Spinner for back up every 2-3 days
while charging the MVP for 3 to 4 hours... I am a heavy VAPOR! And, liking every moment of it...YES!

I did quite a bit of research before I pulled the trigger on my MVP 2.0...
and can respect you for doing the same. Good for you...

Whether it's the final Mod you decide on or not... gulp... I feel like a broken record...
here is a suggestion I have for you... "either or" ... VOLTAGE or WATTAGE
when you get your NEW MOD>>>you're going to have to decide which
you are going to use....... see: http://content.spinfuel.com/taking-the-mystery-out-of-variable-wattage/

PS: I also purchased a 510 connector for appox $3.00 for attaching various clearos that posts
would not make normal connections... just eliminated hassles of pulling up or out post all the time.

Ya, pull the trigger. I couldn't pass it up for $40. I love it. If you're trying to be stealth you don't need to turn the voltage down, just take a hit then inhale again to fill your lungs up with air and hold it for a few seconds. It will dissipate the vapor very well. For clouds get yourself an RDA like an IGO-W or something similar

Thank you all so much for all the input. On payday I am getting the MVP 2.0.

Now can some one explain the diference and benefits / cons of the different style of tanks? I only have experience with the Kanger bottom coil tanks and the iClear16 style. From those I found that I prefer the taste I get from the bottom coils better.

School me. Like what is and RDA tank?

One of the things I like about the MVP 2 is being able to check my coil rebuilds for my Protank on it. For the price and what you get out of the device, it can't be beat. I got mine about 4 weeks ago, started vaping 5 weeks ago, and I've never been disappointed with it.

Here's another thumbs-up for the MVP v2!!!:D
Re: RDA.....The IGO series is an excellent product line for a VERY good price (~$10-$20)....I use the IGO-L, and wind my own coils for it...
I've got several of them and "dedicate" one to each of several flavors that I find unbeatable when "dripped", rather than "tanked"!!:)
The -L model has 2 screw posts and a large platform, so coil assembly is quite easy....the -W model is a 3-post unit, more widely used by those who use multi-coil set-ups (although it CAN be used for single-coil builds...)...the -T is just the TITANIUM (vs stainless steel) version of (I think) the -L....the -S is a smaller version; it's a bit tougher to build on, given its reduced platform size....
Dripper or tank....You WILL LOVE the MVP v2!! There's a LOT packed into that little metal box!!;)
Happy (vaping) Trails!

For the price, mvp is hands down the best mod you can buy. Its output is similar to the provari, lasts a long time, and isnt too bulky. Some don't like box mods though.

I love mine, but i absolutely hated the iclear 16s it came with. I hear the iclear30 is a lot better, so if you have the option, i'd but the kit with that.

I've moved in from clearomizers simply due to the fact that i am learning to build my own coils, and its easy on an RBA(rebuildable atomizer). I find it fun to tinker a little bit, and imo, the vaping experience is at another level.

If you have a B&M(brick and mortar) store near you, i'd venture into one and the owners should typically be using an RBA. Ask them whether you could try it out. You may end up loving those, and they could help you get setup. They should also have MVPs that you could hold to make sure you like the way they feel in your hand.
