..and boy am I ecstatic. I'm glad I did some research first and ended up with a high quality piece. Lots of vapor and flavor, long battery. I don't think I could be happier with my purchase.

My first night out with it I only had 5 regular cigarettes. I didn't feel a need or want to go outside. It's nice to able to go back to my old coffee shop and .... and smoke without smoking. They just passed the smoking ban here on the 1st of January, and it hasn't been too much fun going out in this weather just to have a smoke.

I'm pretty pumped about trying out all the different flavors and companies that make juice and such. I figured I'd join the forum since I've been reading on here for weeks before deciding to take the plunge. Thanks guys!

Hey Deaf Ear! Welcome to the forum and to a better life. I feel so much better since I gave up the analogs! Won't be long before you can't stand the analogs.;)
Isn't the eGo fantastic! I think you made the perfect choice for your first e-cig. I wish I had started there! (That would have bee kinda hard though, it wasn't available when I started!:()
Just wanted to welcome another Tarheel to the forum.
Chris at My Freedom Smokes is in Charlotte so we get fast shipping and he has, in my opinion, the best juice flavors and great prices with superb customer service. Give him a try!:thumbs:

Well so far there's still nothing like a good ol real smoke. I've found it nice to have one occasionally. Who knows if I'll give it up all the way, but I'm really enjoying the ego. Just going outside after dinner and firing up, or first one of the day. I could see myself only smoking maybe three a day, and using the ego the rest of the time.

It's kinda hard to get used to the idea of keeping a stock of fluid and carts for so long in advance too. Planning out shipping times and all that. Not nearly as easy as buying a pack at any gas station. Maybe that will change the more it catches on.

So far no negative feedback in public either, which surprises me. Hope it stays that way.

@Smokinridge

Hendo eh? I'm just over the hill here in Asheville.

I used to live in Sylva and then Bryson City. Good to see some locals on here. Well it's now day 3 and I've had only three traditional cigs. I am absolutely loving this thing right now. Just ordered 60ml of juice before I run out of my samples here. Ego is still going strong, but I'm a tad bit paranoid because I only have one atomizer currently. A box of those is the next thing on my list.

Good attitude in my opinion. Don't force it it will work out how you need it to.

You'll get used to it. I don't miss the routing my trips to make it to the gas station. Watch out for the buying sprees. Seems to be a pretty common affliction around here, myself included.:D
