NO it is not here yet!! I can't believe this, there must have been a PO snafu in KC , cuz my Saber was dispatched from KC, KS on the 25th to KC, MO today....so I am thinking a truck or driver had an issue leaving from KC and they had to reload to another truck, just a wild ... guess on my part......but if not tomorrow, I am going postal. If they show another dispatch from KC I am calling thier hinneys tomorrow I mean how many times can 1 package leave a city?!? It's only 2 hours from here and to boot...ready for this.....I got 3 other packages that came through KC yesterday!!!! I am starting to get worried, I pray they didn't mangle it!!

I got the Saber and it is a looker in real life, very well made!! I am having difficulty getting it to fire, unless i lick both thumb and finger (which grosses me out and not sanitary)? I don't have calused. dry or thick skin, so I am a little miffed, when it hits, it is kicks ..... I have a AW IMR 2000mah battery in it, I tried 4 AW IMR batteries, tried 6 different Trustfire flames, tried 306 lr atty, DC tank.....nothing makes a dfference. Is there a trick to this?

Glad to hear you got it Karma!! The best spot to fire with is very slightly above the crease on your thumb!! My suggestion is place it up to your ear as your sliding your thumb on the sensor. When you find the loudest hiss, thats your good spot for firing! Also try to have the top of your thumb touching the cap at the same time as sensor. Once you find your "spot", it will become second nature for you to fire that way!! Hope it works out for you:)

I got it!! I had been trying to fire with my forefinger and turned it around a few seconds after my post and the thumb works great while my hand is toughing the bottom cap...who woulda thunk..

ok back to having problems, as long as I keep my thumb wet not just moist, ie licking it will fire, this thing is not wanting to fire, at this point I would rather push a button than have to lick my finger/thumb. I handle firearms alot and get powder on my hands, i can NOT be licking them while on the range ie lead, I do NOT feel comfortable comming out of a grocery store after handling items and having to lick my thumb/finger, I need a dependable unlicking mod! I am so let down right now, I have a mod I can not use and I really needed something that just worked, and this does not :(

Man I have tried 4 different brand new AW imr directly of the charger, I have 6 new trustfires all fully charged that I have tried in it, I have 4 Vapage batteries fully charged I have tried, 2 Ultrafires that have only been charged twice......Yeah I have tried different batteries!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have tried too many attys and carto to even count.....at this point it's in a drawer and it's going to stay there not worth the frustration and grossness of LICKING my stupid thumb to get it to work, you should not have to lick anything to get a mod to work, period!!

Edited to add, I use lotion alot I do not have dry or thick skin on my hands, even tried that, thought maybe it was because of lotion and washed it off.....who knows...No as long as it's wet it's ok, but once the spit dries out, NO GO PERIOD!

Hi karmakatie, I'm so sorry about the trouble you're having. I got my saber about a week ago and just found out that my facial moisturizer works better than anything else. I'm going to keep a little of it with my vape gear so I can reapply it when needed. It has fired for me every time since I discovered it. I didn't ever think I had dry hands, but now I moisturize just my firing thumb. It is just a plain facial moisturizer without any extra ingredients other than sunscreen. I don't think that will hurt the ST. I hope that helps, maybe try what ever you like to put on your face? I love the way mine fires now, doesn't ever misfire :)

How often do you reapply the moisturizer throughout the day?
