I do it every couple hours or whenever I wash my hands. I'm planning to put some in a little 3 ml bottle so I can just put a tiny dab right on my thumb when needed. I don't really like the feeling of moisturizer on my hands, so I think I'll be happy just putting a wee bit on my thumb and rubbing it in with my fingertip. That way my hands still feel nice and clean and my thumb is uber soft :D See if that helps?

I do that with lotion already, not willing to do it anymore than that. My face cream is too expensive to use on my hands like I do with lotion, and frankly I do not have time to baby a mod to get it to work. SInce I will loose 30% if I send it back, when my hubby comes home from offshore I will have him take it apart and install a button, it's a shame I have to do this. But man you can chalk this up to lesson learned......

I did send him an email through his site directing him to this thread so he could what all i have already tried. I understand you are trying to help, but I refuse to go to town and buy a specific moisturizer, or lick a finger/thumb to be able to use and expensive pv, I find that unacceptable. I am of the mind that I should not have to jump through hoops to make a product work as it is advertized, if it states it is a touch sensor then it should work without me licking my thumb or trying to find a moisturizer that works with it.....I just plain refuse to do it, I like the handcream I use I have used it for years and I am not changing to make this thing "possibly" work as it should!

Always by ur side
Im so sorry to hear that things are not working out for u and i understand ur fustrations :(
If im not wrong, metal drip tip complete the circuit even better
i nv have problem firing my ST mini.
The only problem i cant fire it properly are

1) waking up in the morning (Hands dry)
I tackle it by going to wash up straight rather than vape 1st b4 washing up

2) Low Batt/dying batt

3) Dying cartomizer
Like a cartomizer indicator to me :p

Thats me and my beloved ST Mini :D

Things are not create perfect, but for some its perfect :)
To me this is the perfect PV
Try the metal driptip to see if it complete the circuit better, if it dun turn out well and u still do not like it, then u have to carry on searching the perfect pv for u.
i searched for 5 months plus for the perfect pv, i purchased quit a lot of mods, i buy and i sell it, buy again n sell it again...etc until i came across vapormoon and found the perfect pv for myself. I wun be seeing myself purchasing other mods except diff design of ST mini to collect :D Hmm... who says vaping SAVES MONEY
Enough with myself, try the metal driptip if u have and also wait for sir_lawrence reply to see how he can help u with it. If it still dun turn out well, i wish u in finding the prefect pv for urself :)

If you had read my previous post you would see I do NOT have dry hands I use lotion throught the day, I am a middle aged woman who takes care of her skin and have regular manicures! I did have a stanless drip tip on this as well as many others...

I don't expect the PERFECT pv, I do however ecpect one that works as advertised when brand new.....The way you explained in your post makes it sound like I have to play a round of twister.... this PV SHOULD work when both end caps are touched at the same time as the sensor, correct? well it does NOT without a wet, not damp, WET finger or thumb, this PV is iseless as it sets, plain and simple!!!

Now if there is a problem than Sir Lawrence can fix it, fine, but I refuse to pay for return shipping and waste another dime on it! I can have my husband make a workable pv out of it cheaper than shipping back and forth, and I am not willing to take a 30% loss on it, for it being returned! I do garantee you that I will not purchase another, something I would have done in a heart beat along with the accessories. Not now.

Also I have not heard back from Sir Lawrence on this pv as of this posting.
