Mini with extension cap ordered today.

Buyer's remorse has already kicked in. $180 is no small chunk of change these days, but I've spent so much money on garbage it probably doesn't compare.

I was on my last nerve when my bolt stopped working. I tore it apart and ordered a new switch, hammered out the old 510 connection, drilled out the hole to accept a madvapes 510 connection, re-soldered the new switch, epoxied the 510 connection and hot-glued the whole assembly back together after waiting a day for the epoxy to dry. Screwed on a tank and the 510 connection spun like the tea-cups at disneyland...
I have a roughstack that has always worked, but it's not tank friendly. The eGo passthroughs that I have dont seem to be lasting very long these days and from hit to hit they vary so much it's annoying.

At least I can use the 18490s that I have from the bolt on the Provari...yes, they are AW IMRs, one smart purchase I've made in the past...

Thank you for letting me justify my purchase by releasing some frustrations here.
I know I'll feel better when it arrives.

It is kind of ironic reading the other forums a listening to all of the problems and replacement parts and all. I haven't been on here very long but I can't recall a Provari breaking from normal use. I have read people dropped them, fried them with a bad battery and drowned them but I can't recall one just breaking. As compared to the others that speaks volumes. All of my other mods have become backups that I think will get very little use. Finally, as a customer, there is no doubt in my mind that should any type of problem arrive I could have it taken care of by Provape. Sounds like a quality product and an excellent company backing it up. That is what I want in a device I utilize daily. I guess I am kind of becoming a fanboy but it is only because I haven't found another product that compares well with it except the Darwin.

Yeah the Provari is very durable, much more durable than anything I've had the pleasure, or displeasure, to have contact with. I have to say, I learned early on that money spent on vaping pales in comparison to smoking, and if i wanted to save money in the long run, I would spen money in the short term. The fact is, the Provari is the class of the industry when it comes to durability, and may have its rivals, but is certainly not outclassed in the functionality department.

The only mod id say is possibly more durable is a GG and even then thats a mechanical non vv mod so it should be. Nothing else really comes close to the durability of the vari. You can tell that just by holding it for the first time. Even putting a dent in it would be hard even hitting it with a hammer probably wont dent it.

I think you will love it :) I really like mine. The only thing I don't like is it is heavy, but it is stainless steel so I wasn't thinking about the weight when I ordered. I also am afraid I will drop it, so I made a simple leather wrap for it with a thumb holder, so if it slips my thumb catches it. I feel much safer using it now. Looks a bit funky with it's fringed leather wrap but it works good. I need to take a pic. LOL bnrk

I compare it to the cost of cigarettes. I was spending $5.50/pack, two packs a day, times 30 days = ~$330 month.

Vaping is cheap in comparison.

You will be happy with it for a long time IMO, wish I would have made this as my first purchase. But we live and learn then we find ECF and it makes it all better :).
