Ordered my 1st ProVari today!

Brand new, full-size black satin V2.5, blue LED, 650 extension, from ProVape..

Will be my 2nd mod.. My sigelei Zmax V3 is good for what it is, but I've been having some slight quality issues with the internals that could cause some performance problems down the road... Besides, good to have a back-up which I've wanted all along, and the Sig will soon take on that role

Almost went with the ProVari first, up from my eGo type, but I'm guessing my experience with a Chinese-made mod will only make me appreciate the ProVari that much more..

Time will tell, but I do have some minor issues with the ProVari right off the bat...

First, the upfront cost.. but I'm sure over the long run that it will more than make up for that.. plus the re-sale value, if it ever came to that. I'm confident that it will be worth it

Second, no VW.. honestly, not a huge deal, just would have been nice.. going to strictly VV is not really a stretch at all with basic Ohm's law knowledge/experience. At this point I don't vary much with resistance, anyway, and I'm not a high wattage/voltage guy

Third, no OLED screen.. I just like those better, visually speaking.. but sure I'll get used to the LED soon enough

Fourth, the menu readings could benefit from something with more than 2 characters.. but sure I'll get used to that, too

Finally, no flat-top.. but that can easily be fixed with some sort of topper thingy, if need be

Did a lot research & thinking before finally pulling the trigger. Had to do it. I'm a full-time, moderate- to heavy-vaper for over 5 months now, part-time for 8 months prior to that. Odds are, will continue vaping for a long time. Need a mod that's rugged, durable, consistent quality vape, long-lasting, quality-machined & built. Don't really need any sort of gimicky bells & whistles... I need a work-horse!

Went through a long list of candidates.. Kept coming back to the ProVari... No mod is perfect, but I believe I'll be quite happy with it

Now if you'll excuse me, I must go stalk the mailman... :D

Congratz Gato! You are going to love it. It is worth the money, works perfectly every time you press the button. I mean...EVERY TIME. Provari defines quality I think.

Some of your points are valid though, and some not so much. Price? You get what you pay for. Quality. Worth every penny and no issue for me.

No VW, I would really like to see that. I know VV works fine (especially on the Provari), but I for one would really like a VW feature where I can dial in my VW preference and let the device do the math. Not a deal breaker by any means, but I would really like the feature.

The LED display. Abysmal I think. LED's are throw back technology at this point and OLED or better displays are inexpensive and easy to integrate. For the price of this device I really dislike seeing that ugly display all the time and would GREATLY prefer a display that's as visually appealing as the rest of the device. Since I'm constantly changing between tanks with different ohms and checking battery voltage etc., I have to look at the ugly display many times each day. I would prefer to see a display that does the rest of the device justice. That being said, the LED has absolutely NO effect on the perfect operation of the device so it's just about aesthics. But the bling factor is important to a majority of Provari owners, so I want me some screen bling.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade my Provari for another regulated device on the market. But I would pay for a better display for sure if there was an upgrade option. I would bet most would if given the choice. But bottom line, no regrets on buying the best regulated device on the market. You will love it.

Pretty sure you'll be happy with it - the quality of the build and the solid vape should make up for the things you mentioned. I hope!

I haven't missed VW at all and I don't spend a lot of time looking at the screen. :)
I DO kind of wish there was an OPTION for a flat top - I like some 19mm tanks with the slant, and some 22mm tanks with a "ring"...
(or at least wish the "rings" I want weren't always going out of stock)
