Ordered mine Friday, no idea what the wait time is... but I'm super excited.

Tracking works! Looks like it's set to hit customs today. It's only a 3 hour drive from me at this moment....ugh....would be awesome if I got in time for the weekend (yes, I did get the faster non-courier shipping, dealt with couriers and their lack of knocking on doors too many times)

On yet another note: In my sleep deprived state I was pondering. Is it unreasonable to think the lack of accurate, up to date tracking has anything to do with homeland security or some such? I dono...it's bad here but generally updates within the hour (and 5 minutes after delivery it updates).

I'd bet on crappy USPS software & erratic system status update procedures.

Looks great. Is that a Phoenix or Bulldog? (Not knowing if there is a difference )

>Is that a Phoenix or Bulldog?

Why, yes it is.

and they are the same thing, just called two different names.

What started me wanting a Provari in the first place was the crap performance of PWM mods with low resistance *-o-mizers of any sort. Making the duty cycle that small makes it vape odd, hollow. I wanted a good mod and I thought the size was perfect for my hands and could push low resistance at a constant reliable voltage. Overall, I think it's the perfect mod for me. It's not too long, it's thinner than my Silver Bullet which surprised me but considering it's SS, it could use less material anyway to achieve the same strength. I like it.

(I use 1.6ohms mostly because that's what my coils come out to in my Phoenix, and so I can use my Silver Bullet as a backup mod without the kick in case bad news happens to any of my more complicated devices.)

I'm not getting the dissenting opinions over the menu, though. The most used options are the first three you click through. Up, Down, and On or Off. It will take some practice to slow myself down so I don't go past them every time I enter the menu but it isn't as bad as some people were making it out to be.

Thanks Algernon, I'm considering getting into the RBA world, since they look so darn good on the Provari...and since I've got a Provari on the way, thought it'd be a great time to research.

My next plans are to take the atomizer's cover to my father's workshop and buff it for a good fifteen minutes on his buffing wheel with some compound. That should make it look rather ace on the Provari.

I find it easier not to look at the screen when pushing the button for menu items. I just count and it comes up everytime. If I look at the screen I start admiring the display and overshoot. LOL

The first paragraph of my last post was a partial quote from Algernon. Still figuring out how to do that.:?:

I'm not sure I'll be pressing the button without looking any time soon. I'm sure some of you out there are used to it. I'm not quite in tune yet.
