Well I have been on and off for over a year but now making the crunch once again to stay off cigs completely. Been 3 days in cold turkey and today I am feeling like total crap. It hasnt really been hard so to speak. Just starting to get the physical rebound effects now I guess. I hope this doesnt last too long. Fatigue, blah, no appetite. I actually feel alittle down mentally as well. Like a slight depression!

Anybody else have this so soon in? Usually it happens a month or so in

I've been smoking for about 10 years now. Wow, I never noticed its been that long. About a pack and a half a day and roll your owns. My various withdraw symptoms seem to hit a week or so after I have quit smoking. They usually dont seem to last very long when they happen. Usually it is feeling kind of moody or jittery. The worst effects I will get are little muscle twitches and sometimes chest pains. The chest pains are the worst part, but these dont always seem to happen.

Usually after a month I feel like my lungs start trying to purge themselves though. Usually I will start coughing some things up and have a scratchy throat for awhile. Lots of annoying little things, kind of makes me feel like I have a cold.

I am just into week two with no cigarettes (but lots of vaping). 2 days this week were interesting as I was actually in a "good" mood. People at work actually noticed enough to comment. I guess that says a lot about my normal mood than anything else. The last few days have been tough though. I haven't had a lot of coughing up anything, just a constant runny nose (i dont have allergies). The first two or three days was tough, for me it got easier after day 4, I hope it does for you too! Hang in there your awesome!

Luma: This is as much a support forum as it is an informative one. And we don't take kindly to failure. Anytime you feel the need for a tobacco stick--come here and read, read, read. Read the thread started by Mary Kay about our "crooked paths to e life". So many uplifting, inspiring stories there, and so many health problems from using tobacco openly discussed. And maybe you read it and maybe you posted there. Go back and read it again. I see you have been a member of ECF since 2009 so you know all the rah rah speeches. Hopefully, this time you can make it stick. YOU CAN DO IT........WE CAN HELP.
