Hello one & all,

I have just come across this vaping community as I was looking to connect with anybody that has or is experiencing some symptoms specific to vaping. I have recently quit cold turkey nearly 5 weeks ago now. I smoked cigarettes on & off over the course of a couple decades, and was heavily smoking about a pack a day for about 3 years. I was introduced to vaping by a family member & really enjoyed it. I was given a vape box as a gift & went to my first vape store to test out some flavors & nicotine strengths. I found one I enjoyed & never looked back, I completely stopped cigs on the spot & went to vaping. I Vaped heavily over the last 3 years, however, I began to notice after about 1-2 months that I was becoming really fatigued, mentally & physically. I was forced into choosing to quit as I just could not handle the fatigue & constant exhaustion anymore. However, as stated, it has been over a month now since quitting but I an still exhausted. I am just as chronically fatigued & exhausted as I was while I was vaping. I've been checked out at the doctor's & all is clear but it doesn't feel that way.

Has anyone experienced this at all?

Kindly
Mark

Have you had a sleep study done? My wife complained of me stopping breathing at night,I was waking her up with it. I had a sleep study and found that I would stop breathing quite a bit and therefore not getting much REM deep sleep at all which gave me those exact symptoms. I hate sleeping with a c-pap machine but the results were dramatic.

Welcome to the forum!

I hate to say it but it doesnt sound vaping related. I have been exhausted for 20 years. A lot of Drs dont believe in things like chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, sleep disorders, etc. They want to chalk it up to depression and the like. Learn to listen to your body research and advocate for yourself. Good luck.

I suffered from Excessive Sleepiness for several years. I could nod out on my feet at work, I got fired from two great jobs. Had several sleep lab studies for narcolepsy and obstructive sleep apnea. Specialists said I had a bit of both. Long story short, I qualified for SSI medical disability and am now retired.

    Welcome to ECF.

That's how I felt when my thyroid quit. My level was the lowest they'd seen outside of a hospital setting.
You might see if your blood work covered that.

Like the others have said, check your diet, sleep habits, stress....stress...stress...stress.
Stress will just wear your soul to a frazzle.
I hope you find the answers. :)
