What a group you all have here! I am enjoying the hell out of you all and my Reo so far.

Rebuilt again late last night to get down to .8 ohms, now I'm getting the vape I'm more used to, very nice. Don't actually mind squinting every couple hits either, seemed like it would be too often but it's not.
I can see how these are habit forming; I'm already eager to try another flavor.

Nice looking Grand! Mine should be here next week sometime...can't wait. Glad to see you experimenting around with the lower ohms. I've been wrapping .5 with a mech on an IGO, .6 or so on a Nimbus and Trident, and .9 to 1 ohm on my kayfun. If you are doing .8 and it's doing well, that's a happy thing! :)

Ya, doing great at .8! Did I see you got yours today afterall? Almost replied to a thread earlier before the kid demanded my attention, thought it was you. If so, CONGRATS!

Well. For today she's got a little something different for you. I felt like you were more of a flavor-chaser than cloud-chaser. So on lefty we've got some of halo's tribeca. Not my cup of tea, but every once in a while I'll take a vape. But others rave about it something like bobas. Just a little too carmel popcorny for me. I've got you set up with a .9 ohm single coil here for just that right amount of heat.

And on righty we've got an amazing green apple juice. The best one I've found has been from Vaporbomb. I like it at 80pg/20vg, but hey whatever tickles your fancy can surely be arranged. We'll do a dual coil 1 ohm set-up to get some popping flavor here. She shouldn't be too hot, because of the enlarged 1/16 air hole.

Congrats on the reo and welcome!

Thanks! Yeah, it's me. Sorry it took so long to reply, I was working and didn't see the update.

Flat top batteries will work but are more likely to spark and arc which leads to oxidation which leads to more arcing. Watch the maintenance video on Rob's site. You'll probably need to clean, file and noalox weekly. You should get some noalox to put on the positive contact and bit on top of the battery to stop this from occurring.

EDIT: almost forgot CONGRATS! and welcome to Reoville.

Ooops! I bought a couple of VTC4 flat tops for another device, but threw one in my Grand earlier today -- well, just because it was freshly charged and my battery was low. Seemed fine, but sounds like trouble down the road. Thanks for the heads up.
