Wow it took me like 6 tries wrapping the coil to get this thing working properly. I did 5/4 wraps of Kanthal 32 on 400 SS.

My main issue was a burnt taste but I have gotten rid of that. What kind of break in period is there on this type of atomizer before you really get the best vape? I am vaping a tobacco/menthol mix and it is starting to taste pretty good. I am running this on a smok Telescope with a short stop. I plan on getting a kick at some point.

Lastly, how long does this setup usually last before need a change? I am moderately heavy vaper.

grats, took me about 2 weeks, but I started with nichrome which I still can't get to work, took that 2 weeks to figure out it was the wire, after I got the kanthal got one going in 10 min, now can roll a wick, burn, wrap and vaping in like 2 min. didn't take long once i got the problem sorted out.

Yeah I am feeling like I could get the system up and running pretty quick. Have you had to change wicks yet? How long?

I am now going to have to get used to not seeing how much battery life I have left too... got spoiled on that ZMAX knowing when to change etc..

I changed it a couple times just to see how fast I can do it, plus the first one got a little overcooked when first adjusting, I got it down now, bottom isn't even burned, just where it goes through the atty and the wrap. this one should last me a long time, they say a month or better, probably depends on juice, I use 100% pg so I'm probably sitting better than most others.

Cool thanks and that sounds good. I have just grown tired of flooding cartos and the dreaded D.O.A's on those. Gratz on the National Championship win if you a Bama fan by the way!

if it's close you can just burn off, I've went from straight tobacco flavor to gorilla juice with just dry burn, but if you got something with some strong flavor like cinnamon I really don't know, my palette is pretty limited.

I read someone putting in some everclear in the tank and letting it wick and burn it off if i remember right.

Yeah I stopped watching after 35-0 just wasn't a point anymore. They really need a playoff system in place, glad they won. But I want to see a game, not one side playing while the other is playing tiddly winks or something.

Yeah never really had a prob with carto's, just after getting a rba the flavor is just nothing in a carto, got an ea mod in the works (gg clone) and will be getting a z atty g to go on it, and will keep this z atty u on my vamo, I just wish you could lay these z attys down, kinda hard to keep it upright constantly. when out and about.

Yeah I am working on agetting a GG clone right now and eventually I will get a nice RBA. I am just graduating into the world of mechanicals/rba's. I still have a lot to learn and of course good gear to accumulate. I have given away all my standard ego stuff and a few tanks etc. I will keep the ZMAX as a backup but I think I will be on mechanicals for the most part going forward.

they each have their ups and downs, when I get the ea I'll have to get a kick for it, i don't like the idea of the vape diminishing as the battery drains down, but I figured will have a ele and mech mod so can see which direction to go from there. will be my first mech. but i think i'll like it and will always be a backup at worst since they basically last forever.

and jumped right from a aga-t to the z atty. i'm glad i ordered it, i never could get the aga to work and it found it's place in the lake behind my house :D
