Finally got it! But a few issues

My Black Mini DSE901 from puresmoker came today (day early, AND a pack of 5 extra carts! your the best Steve). so after running gleefully up to my dorm room like a kid who just got a new action figure, I opened up the packaging, popped in a cart, and gave it a go.

I'm liking it so far, but there are a few issues im encountering

1. The battery attached to the atomizer seemed to die after a few tokes , so i just took it in stride as a chance to break out the charger early. Attached the second one and that seemed to fix the issue. Not a huge gripe by any means

2. Vapor- It could just be the normal carts that came with the e-cig, but my vapor seems to be really low compared to some of the videos I've seen.
EDIT: Just put a new cart in and its fixed, damn do these carts really die that quickly? I need my Janty liquid to get here ASAP!

3. Jesus these Carts taste god awful

4. No, seriously. These carts...argh

All in all though, I think this will really grow on me. Don't regret my purchase at all :D Thanks again Steve!

o yeah, and if you even taste the slightest burnt plastic taste, FILL UP IMMEDIATELY !!! Can't stress this enough. If the atomizer turns itself on, and you can catch it in time, this is the self cleaning cycle. Afterwords, the cig tastes NASTY for atleast 20-30 puffs, so if you can catch it in time, disconnect, until the battery stops flashing!

Remember, drain, clean, and maintain her, and she will treat you good!

Have a great weekend bud

but Steve (cash) I am confused...if it doesn't do its cleaning cycle aren't you defeating the purpose?

IMHO ... nope ... The same mini atomizer I have been using for months now (which I actually allow people to try out if I meet them in person) is still going strong.

I honestly feel, the more you break in an atomizer (lets say 2-3 weeks) the greater the hit and taste are IMO. New atomizers have no kick, and the taste is less than desirable. The longer you can keep her going, the better she gets ...

Almost like a fine wine or cheese ... the best are the oldest! LOL :thumb:

The 901 atomizer I feel has an odd first week or two of life ...

When you first get it, vapor it intense, draw is unbelievably easy, but throat hit is almost non existent. After 2-3 days, draw tends to get hard, vapor goes down, and throat hit starts to appear. After about 7-10 days of use, the draw is still not as easy as before, vapor is back up pretty high, and the throat hit is intense!

Atleast that is my experience with them :) Everyone has their own opinion!

My vapor wasn't much at first, but after a few minutes was really impressive for the first 4 days and then started to decline. I cleaned it for the first time at the end of day 4 and morning of day 5 resumed. It took a few minutes to break it in again and it was back to where it was before. It's been 10 days now and just cleaned it again today. It's producing less vapor than day 2 or 3, but the hit is a bit more intense and the flavor has been improving each day. It also seems to take a bit more effort to draw now, and I find that if I draw too slowly the LED will light but I won't get any vapor.

I think i'm going to go with some RY4 for my next liquid.

I have not tried many liquids so far, but of what I have tried the RY4 is 10 times better. It does not taste like a real cig, but it does taste good! I am going to keep trying other flavors, but already planning to order another stock of ry4 when I order the others.
