I live in Dallas, which has a law to stop bars from allowing smoking. I go dancing (two-step country dancing) fairly often, and the bars always allow me to vape. I've only been questioned about it once, and I think that's because the manager saw me across the bar and told one of his bouncers to tell me I couldn't smoke. Once he saw my eGo, he said "Oh, it's one of those, you're fine, go ahead".
Usually I don't run into anyone else
vaping. Every once in a while, someone else will have a cig-lookalike mini PV.
Friday night I went to a bar I don't go to a lot. As I was ordering a beer, I had my buzz pro, with a liquinator tank, and the female bartender pointed at it. I was expecting the usual "What is that" conversation when she reached over next to her register and picked up an eGo-T and said "I vape too!".
While I was talking to her, some guy walked up, ordered a beer, and lit a cig. I think maybe he saw our vapor and decided "If they can smoke, I can smoke". As soon as he lit it, he was told "You can't smoke in here, you have to go outside".
So that was on Friday night.
I'd planned on staying home Saturday, but some friends called and talked me into going out dancing. We went to a bar I had only been to once before, and I called ahead and asked about using an e-cig there. They told me "Yeah, that's fine".
So I show up, and not long after, my friend Donna shows up. She's been using an eGo for a couple of months, which she bought after seeing how well vaping was working for me. But she had a new Silver Bullet and liquinator tank.
And then later that night, a girl I didn't know was walking past the table. She saw my buzz pro and said "Oh, I have one of those". She came back a bit later, and she had a Silver Bullet and tank.
