i finally ordered some flavors directly from TFA this week and i have to say im shocked!
not only are the flavors much stronger and better tasting they where twice as cheep for double the quantity
and came in glass bottles!

im not going to name names but i have ordered flavors from a few reputable online ecig stores selling TFA flavors several hundred dollars worth actually, and my only conclusion is that these company's are not only charging more then double for there flavors they are also diluting many of them down, all the flavors i got are stronger then any i have received from these other company's and i have had to lower all my percentages in my recipe its not wounder why some people like 10% and others will say 30% for the same flavor its likely that not only are there taste buds different but so are the concentrations they are receiving from different vendors.

im not trying to point fingers or say that all company's are doing this but i am 100% positive two of the stores i have ordered from have.

On 11-6-2012, I ordered 2 flavors that RTS didn't have at the time, directly from TFA/TPA in 4 oz.
They cost $13 each, came in plastic bottles and cost $11.40 shipping - but it did come in a box :)

:glare: Now if I would have waited, RTSVAPES has them in stock for $12.75 and all flavors from RTS come in glass.

But, to be fair, my understanding from past discussions about this - the smaller sizes ordered from TFA/TPA do come in glass. And of course this may have changed for the 4oz size.

Can't comment on any difference yet, because just a couple days ago I finally got to making a 100ml batch from one of those flavors  But I did transfer to glass

Interesting conjecture though it could also be that the stores you were buying from had older stock that had faded in strength. Best to be sure before slinging accusations.

part of the reason i am not giving names is i have no proof other then personal conclusions(as far as delusion goes) and would not like to say anything adverse about otherwise reputable company's, was meant more as a cautionary statement that you might want to order direct from the manufacturers of these flavors and judge for yourself whether or not they are cheaper and stronger:)

while it is possible that some of the stock had aged and faded in strength,i have been at this for over three years now, some flavors have gotten stronger over time some have turned rotten and some have as you put it faded,i order fairly large quantity's and store most in a mini fridge unless refrigeration is listed as something that will separate the contents like sweeteners.

these new juices are darker/smell much much stronger and require much less in my e-juice to get the same flavor or even stronger and cost much less..make your own conclusions, its not my place to tell anyone who to shop from or not to shop from just putting my opinion out there for whats its worth:)

I'd wonder if that type of practice would be illegal because it would constitute adultered food product. Not sure if that would apply to flavorings though, and there generally is no statement of concentration in the resellers stores that I've seen. I find that the resellers can be nice for sample flavors because of the cost, variety and where I shop, free shipping. But I go to the manufacturers for the large quantities also.

Any TFA flavors I buy I always ordered direct from TFA. Prices are good and they offer many quantity choices. You can order gallons of the stuff if you so desire. And I agree they are stronger and fresher then anywhere else. Shipping has always been fast and consistant.

i would imagine if they where in fact diluting these flavors that they would just be using whatever the base used in the original formulas is listed as like ,Pg,Vg,Triacetin or Ethyl Alcohol and would be probably be perfectly legal.
ether way i will be sticking to buying direct from the creators of the flavoring from here out they are just much more enjoyable knowing they are fresh and unaltered.
