tobh is a dual coil atty, but try getting a single coil in there first so you know what you are dealing with. in the beginning it can be hard to wrap consistant coils so that they glow at the same rate IMO - if they glow at different rates juice on one side will burn faster and you'll get dry hits even though one wick is totally saturated (the other will be bone dry).

looks like you may want to wrap on a smaller rod. I use 5/64.
It seems like if you use a wider rod it is harder to keep your wraps tight, and the coils like to move around a bit more. wider depends on the gauge of kanthal you are using.. it also depends on how many wraps - more wraps are required to keep the coil stable on larger rods.

You are shooting for a higher resistance than I am, so I'd user a wider rod than 5/64, maybe like 1/8. on a 1/8 drill bit to get to a target resistance of about 1.3ohms, you'd need 12 wraps on each coil (assuming dual micro coil).

Happy to hear there's some positives :D
Yeah the mounting was really fiddly but I got it in the end.
Not sure about inches but the rod I used was 3mm. I got a 2mm and a 1.5mm also. This kanthal is pretty springy, it's 0.25mm, and doesn't like to squish together with the tweezers at all. 0.25mm is 30 gauge? Not 100% sure, but I wrapped 6 times (5/6 wrap?) and I was happy it came out around 1.2 ohms, and not 2.8 like my build last night lol.
