You defiantly have more room in most drippers (RDA = rebuildable dripping atomizer). The deck has more build area, and the mounting posts are usually easier to work with.
RTAs (rebuildable tank atomizers) have smaller decks and usually just mount with scews to the deck as the larger the deck the less juice capacity. Also, I think the smaller deck adds to the flavor factor.
I don't think either is super difficult to build, but it does take some time to figure out your own process for building. I agree that maybe starting on a dripper would be easier!

Ok cool so I've got the Tobh clone that I'll try a build on tonight then, I'll aim for around 1.2-1.4 ohms I reckon.

Grrr... The wee mini screwdriver the Tobh came with is just spinning inside the finger grip! It won't turn the screw, and I know this sounds crazy, but I've got no screwdrivers here as I just moved in lol.

Gonna have to pick up some screwdrivers in the morning [emoji15]

Tried a paid of scissors, a few knives, coin lol it's screwed in so tight :-/

nooo.. its the three on top of the tobh that you need to loosen - so you can see through the holes.
star? my kayfun screwdriver was philips (is that what you mean?)
the one on the bottom (under side of the deck in the 510 connection) undoes the center post. leave that alone

I'd be up for FaceTime but it's 4am and housemates asleep lol, plus looong story short, I get 0.2mb download speed and 0.07mb upload speed!! Insanely slow. Takes 10 minutes to send an iMessage [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
