Finally picked up my first e-cig from the post office

Picked it up first thing this morning and started smoking it around noon. So far so good, really quite enjoying it. I wasn't too keen on the standard flavour carts. Tasted very strange to me and didn't really do anything for me on the nicotine fix front.

I swiftly swapped it for one of the high strength apple carts I'd ordered, more vapour, nicer taste but still slightly lacking on the fix. I then filled an empty cartridge with the Totally Wicked 36mg coconut and bingo! Loads of vapour, lovely tase and nicotine rush. I’ve also got the french pipe and camel flavours which certainly deliver the hit but not so sure about the taste. I think I may be going for non tobacco flavours with this thing.

Anyway I’m quite impressed. I got a pack of fags on autopilot on the way back from the sorting office and haven’t touched them. My mind does turn to them a bit but a few tokes on the ecig seems to be sorting it for now. The real test will be the pub…

Congratulations on making the leap!

The pub may be less of a test if it rains (lol). But I know what you mean. I end up sitting outside with my smoking mates, puffing on the e-cig--even though the landlord allows it inside!

Come winter, I hope to convince some of them to switch

Thanks Denni. My experiment is being closely monitored by my mates. They aren't convinced it'll work but I reckon if I'm still doing it a month from now then there may be some new converts

Hehe I did exactly the same tonight it is the first time I've ever been to the pub without smoking tobacco in some form though so I'm quite chuffed
