Finally Starting My RDA Adventure

I've been vaping for a year or so, nothing to serious, Vamo V5 was my daily for a while, with a protank 3 and aero tank mega, which by the way is a horrible tank.

I got tired of replacing coils at $2 a piece, and no flavor, no clouds so im stepping in the world of Rebuildables and bought my first mech mod.

Going to start out easy, something above sub ohm for now till i get use to building coils and building those sub ohm fog machines.

Guess i'll go over what i ordered...

1. Stingray Clone (copper) by infinite.
2. 2 Efest 2500mah "35" amp batteries, which i hear mixed reviews about, im hear not to take them below .5, but we shall see, i think some Sony VTC4's are in order at a later date.
3. IGO W plus, which i think i will use to make my cloud builds for the time being.
4. A Drilled Patriot RDA
5. 30,28,26,24 gauge A-1 kanthal (100 ft of each, should be a good start for numerous kinds of builds, flavor and cloud oriented.)
6. 510 ohm reader
7. Big bag of organic cotton

Should be enough to get started, make a few builds.

Any tips anyone can give me?

You'll want a set of drill bits to wrap your coils around, tweezers and/or pliers. Also check out Steam Engine | free vaping calculators to plan your build and coil resistance. Personally, I've learned a lot from watching RipTrippers and PBusardo on youtube. Vape safe, have fun!

Thanks, actually watching RipTrippers videos now, im in to extreme car audio so ohms law is something that i'm already educated about i guess you could say. got the drill bits and pliers too! Thanks for your response.

Thanks, i heard they were rewrapped LG cells, we'll see what it can do for a lil bit, ill step up to the sony's here soon.

Welcome to ECF! I don't have a lot of info to add here, but I on much the same situation, I just picked up an RDA and am going to start making my own coils
I'll be watching this thread closely for new ideas.

welcome to the ECF... once you get used to building there will be no way you want to go back to any mass produced tanks. i can also guarantee it will give you something to play around with for quite a while. best of luck and looking forward to your input.
