My 510 disposable finally arrived today. I've been using it for the past 6 hours on the initial charge it came with. Granted I'm not hitting it that much, probably once every 30 min on avg and here's why in the form of a question.

Why would a company who knows this is marketed toward people on the fence package a disposable kit with carts that taste horrible? I got the menthol package and even the smell is bad, like a dirty feet with a tictac stuck in between the toes. I thought the object of getting someone to try a product was for them to like it, very confusing to say the least. Now I researched enough to know that the included carts would be bad so that didn't detour me, just confused me a little. What if I hadn't done the research?

Anyway on the positive side I'm getting my nic fix without analogs and seeing what it's like. After the first few minutes I got better with my technique and even just hitting as seldom as I have been I haven't even thought about an analog. In fact they are on my desk in front of me now laying right beside the 510 and I haven't reached for them once. I've learned I need to go down from the 24mg nic included. I doubt even if it tasted better I could hit it much more often. I'm use to lights and it does pack a punch.

So all in all it was a positive learning experience and I'm glad I did considering the minimal expense involved. It gave me some time to research further what I really wanted and now I'm off to get either the Riva or Ego and some sample liquid plus other goodies, cartos etc.

Thanks to everyone here. I've learned a lot in the past week and can't wait to hit the next level and keep learning.

cheers

decent info my fellow noogan. My favorite thing about posts like this is how you're saying "I haven't even touched my analogs." this is INSPIRING for people like me who have tried just about everything that's been thrown at us to quit with no prevail.

My first cigarette was handed to me when I was 8 years old by two extremely physically gorgeous asian teen sisters in an abandoned SP building on an airforce base overseas. Who was I to say no? Anyway...despite that only turning out to be my introduction to cigarettes - (i mean cmon i was 8) and learning now that those girls probably weren't the kind of girls i should've been hanging around at 8 (and i still really don't regret that..the smoking maybe but not that)..that makes me a 20 year smoker! although i didn't start smoking frequently until i was an early teen.

I have tried EVERYTHING..but the e-cig...and i'm just hoping it's not resent to the Hixson P.O. for a second time to be sent back to the proper zipcode on the packaging.

But yah, i'm sorry for getting long winded but I know I'm not the only person who wishes they hadn't started smoking to begin with due to the fact that quitting is extremely difficult. The success stories are amazing even if for only a matter of days after they've started using the product. I'm still in the state of "This is too good to be true." because mines in the mail, but hopefully i'll have a success story of my own to share with you and anybody who wishes to read it very soon. And i wish you and anyone else the best in their efforts to be smoke free.

I hope you'll consider keeping us updated on your progress as time passes...you never know who might read it and say "Wow...i really need to give this a try before it's too late." not that i'm on a mission to convince people that they should stop smoking. My mission is to stop smoking myself and hopefully be able to help others looking for that themselves to be aware that it's there and how well its working.
