Finding a better alternative for aspire K1 glassomizer

Hi all,

I'm currently using Aspire K1 glassomizers with the 1.8ohm BVC replacement coils. I use them with a bunch of Ego Mega and VV/VV2 batteries set to ~4V.

I'm running into two problems: the glass becomes disconnected from the metal parts of the K1's, and crazy glue doesn't fix the problem; and the coils seem to last me a day or two before they stop wicking well (they're not burning out). I use 80PG/20VG non-clogging eliquid. I tried boiling the coils, then soaking them in vodka for a day, and that doesn't help.

Aside from these two problems and the minor problem of a little spitting, I'm pretty happy with the setup. Could you recommend to me something that might be an improvement, while maintaining the aesthetics of this combo? I like the sleek form factor and the steel/glass look. Definitely no hand-cannons or boxes. I'll upload a picture.

EVOD, protank mini, GS air. All work pretty well, and are relatively easy to rebuild coils.

Thanks for giving me some names to look into. Is there a benefit (other than cost) to using rebuildable rather than drop-in coils?

These all have drop in coils, they just happen the be easily rebuilt. Main benefit would be cost, they can be rebuild for pennies. I also find the rebuilt ones seem to last a little longer, usually..

Oh, I see. I didn't realize that, thanks. I had thought it was one or the other.
